He's going to makes over $100m over the next 5 years plus endorsements. He's making more money than a muthafuqer.

So?

He is entitled to make more according to the CBA.

OK

Inform the entire team instead of just one.

The right way is the way that wins. Two years ago Melo played right I guess...

Ousted by the Pacers in the second round playoffs in 6 games? What did we win?

Not Carmelo's fault, Amare came back for that series and the knicks turned back into a sub .500 team

LOL. So Melo gets the credit when we win but only the rest of the team takes the blame when we lose. I see.

It's deep rooted jealousy man. Damn shame. I'm sure as hell ain't turning down extra money from my job, nor would anyone else on this board.

Yep.

That's life though. People hate to see another muthafuqa doing well.

You would think Melo gave up on the team last year like some of our others players by the way people talk about him.
When he really played his ass off every game for us.

the truth is, he said if they brought him a plan that made sense he would take less money. what plan do they have ? they're gonna sign people next year ? that's not a plan that's a wish. he really shouldn't have said anything about his salary but for some reason he'll answer almost anything.

I don't like that Melo was balling with Love and Kobe at UCLA today.

It's more the fact some of us don't want to pay him the max because he's not a guy you can build around add in the years he's been in the league and minutes played in the nba and the last few years of that contract will look awful as he slows down

well being greedy or selfish is negative. That's why people react back in negative way.

And who doesn't want more money? Well Duncan. He might have been old when he took 10mil , but he did take it, could have easily still taken 15mil. He found that nice balance where the fans were happy, lead as example for teammates, made them happy, was probably happy about himself beeing unselfish, and made his chance to get another ring higher, and that made him again happy. In this second scenario everyone's happy

Then why would we want him if he doesn't like Phil's plan going forward?
