I actually tipped him off straight away, hoping he might use a resource to confirm and break the story.

of course he was too busy sitting on his hand waiting for it to go numb.

Well, he didnt throw the first punch. Either way thats why a pro athlete shouldn't play at a YMCA

I have to say the high school kid had to be bold to attempt to throw a punch!

I hope that parts true.

If so, this could be a blessing in disguise. The quick response from the heightened public awareness might give him a scare and reality check. Help him understand how he has to take care with how he acts.

I agree, but PJ's got to be smarter than that.

Well, maybe it is for the better this happened so early, so Hornets have kind of leverage to hold him on short leash from now on and for them to realize he is not type of guy to put all the eggs in one basket with, so they can prepare for a scenario when they would have to cut losses and won't have to rely on him.

I can give him a kind free pass, as he only retaliated, could be hard not to, but he has to have some guilt in the build up.

Obviously it's not a good look, but I'm cool with it. Shouldn't have thrown the lunch, but glad we got someone who doesn't back down and has a little crazy in him. Always need that.

I'm not going to doubt him or anything. We really don't know much about the truth of the story. If someone tried to provoke me and punch me, no question I would retaliate. But, still, now that he's an NBA star he needs to try to stay away from things that will get him in trouble.
