Miami can get Melo now, they don't have to wait until Bosh signs elsewhere to do so.

Apparently Riley isn't a big enough piece of **** (he's still a piece of **** though) to stab Bosh in the back like that. Bosh still has the chance to sign for less in Miami. If he doesn't want to take less, Riley will probably tell him to take the max from Houston so they can sign Melo.

"Theory West Coast is that Anthony's admiration for Bryant has convinced him to form a Hollywood version of the Power Trio with Bryant and Pau Gasol.

Theory Midwest is that Anthony would prefer to play for the Bulls and is essentially telling Jackson to trade him to Chicago or he'll sign with the Lakers, leaving the Knicks with nothing in return. The Lakers have enough cap room to sign Anthony to a maximum contract, while the Bulls need some maneuvering.

The second version is an interesting scenario. Should Jackson, the Knicks president, send his star player to the team he used to coach -- or the other team he used to coach? There are plenty of sign-and-trade scenarios with the Bulls that would work, with or without Carlos Boozer."

Last time I had a gut feeling Melo scored 62

I won my office pool that previous week so I spent the money on the Bobcats game instead of the Laker game 2 days later

Only game I went to since Melo has been a Knick and he scores 62

Think on it

If Melo's decision doesn't come tomorrow, then should we give up? I mean at that point that should indicate that he wants the Heat.

Still I do get the feeling that its either la or ny since that gives him what he / wife wanted as far as big major city feel especially lala tv / acting career etc etc.....

Hopefully carmelo team / reports last week is true to form word and this ends monday so the Bulls can move on.....

Heh, I still like Superhero movies/comics occasionally. Gotta admit though, Spiderman always struck me as a whiny bitch, even as a kid.

Riley was all about "loyalty". If he stabs Bosh in the back, no players will ever believe him.

LOL, how much help does LeBron really need? Go back to Cleveland and lead that young team to an NBA title, that would be very impressive. If the Heat are able to land Melo and LeBron, Wade resigns and they land Pau, seriously it seems ridiculous he needs that much help. Also Melo should wear a bag over his head if he can't lead a team to an NBA title and has to join LeBron James in Miami to do it. I would not be the least surprised if this all happened in the coming days. I still hope Melo signs with the Bulls, they have the pieces in place to win an NBA title.

Ya know, if Melo's criteria for signing is he got a boner watching Keanu, I don't really think he's a good fit on this team. He should go to LAL, watch Kobe get old[er] and lose.

I'd take Theory Midwest

If Carmelo let's Lala's bad acting career ruin his chance to contend so be it. Her being a bad actress can go on for decades him being in his prime as an option for a viable contender is not. If he comes here fine if not fine. Their should be no bashing of the front office or Rose and no pining for Wade or desperation for Stephenson.
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.
