I don't agree that there aren't signs of the Bulls moving on either. I was able to believe Melo and Pau were related, but names like Marion, Stephenson, trying to get a deal inked up with Mirotic...That seems like moving on to me.

I'm thinking more actual action than just rumors. Like, if we heard they inked Mirotic, that would be a domino. But just hearing that it's a strong possibility doesn't affect other dominoes that much.

I also don't really see who the Bulls move on to, besides Deng.

I don't see Bosh's fit with Noah and Taj...That team would lack balance financially. Plus we can't offer Bosh max...Not with Taj.

Granted, it's also possible that the guy just wanted to hear all of the pitches, and take the holiday weekend before making any long-term decisions as well.

It's going to be Mirotic and parts. There is no other big name out there (barring a Love trade), really. Everyone else is just fleshing out a roster. Problem with FAs like Marion is that we're unlikely to get them without landing that big fish first. Those guys will sign with the Miami's and OKCs or whatever teams look like the favorites at the time.

If they don't land Anthony, I just hope they avoid giving multi year deals to aging role players like Marion, etc.

Maybe it was Rose, I mean every other star who has won something was out there recruiting. Kobe with 5 rings was out there trying to recruit, he didn't make it back in time but he supposedly met him later, now this is a guy who has 5 rings.

Dirk comes out and says hell yeah I will recruit him, remember Lebron met Derek Fisher at the airport last year.

Rose seems to be the only one who has won nothing, hasn't played in 2 plus years his camp has been known to complain we can't put better players around him and he can't make an effort like Noah, Gibson, Kobe, etc?

It appears Houston has moved on (somewhat), although all of these reports of their "intense" interest in Bosh without having actually spoken to him (according to at least one report) is interesting.

Thsyx probably it, they think their plan B guys are going to wait around until they are officially eliminated from the Melo pursuit. So no need to move on until its 100%
