Why? They can afford Lebron and keep those guys. I could see Thompson, Waiters, and Bennett moved for Love but thats it. Wiggins doesnt have to go anywhere.

IMO lakers and Cleveland are two teams who are perfect to use as distractions and deflect attention away from what lebron and melo really want

They want bosh to bolt so melo can join Miami

If we grab lance and Jarrett jack with mirotic we would have guard depth front court depth and if we part ways with dunleavy and boozer we wouldn't be too far into the tax either

With that depth I believe we beat anybody they put together in Miami.

Would be even better if by next trade deadline we trade taj and jimmy and get Kevin love

Rose/Kirk
Lance/Jarrett
McDermott/ vet min guy
Love/ mirotic
Noah/ smith

That is a dynasty

Well, only the Knicks can give that 5th year, so sign and trade makes Melo 30 millions richer. I am pretty sure Melo would prefer that.

He can only get 4 years in a sign and trade. He only gets 5 if he stays in NY

That team has a 4 year window to rake in championships....before Wiggins needs to be re-upped. That would be the team to beat in the East in that 4 year period. And not just because of LeBron.

Yes, but NY still has all those benefits that Anthony must consider and that it is a type of leverage whether fans like it or not.
