Will he dance for Lebron like Rose did for Melo?

How about you sit tight and see what happens. We technically have only 3 players on our roster. We're obviously not done. You're preaching to the choir.mawan041 wrote:KingDavid wrote:NBA82 wrote:It's hard for me to believe that people think the major issues we had exposed in the Finals will be solved by drafting a 6'0, 165 pound PG and adding a broken-down shooting specialist at SF and Josh McRoberts.
I'm not saying they're totally worthless additions, but at best, this was a pretty mild alteration of the roster. We're essentially the same team with a bit more scoring potential at PG and a bit more size at PF.
The same team that went to four straight finals...A slight improvement is better than none.
Our goal is NOT making the finals, it is winning it all. Playing in a weaker eastern conference, the Pacers self-imploding, etc.. were some factors that made it is pretty easy to get to our 4th finals appearance.
If you think those additions will help us beat the Spurs or some of the other Western Powerhouses then you are kidding yourself (with the only exception being the Thunder, we seem to match up well with them, although what happens next year is anyone's call).
With all due respect, stop using the past as a way of measuring what will happen in the future. We're not guaranteed a finals appearance.
We have issues with the roster, mainly interior defense and rebounding. Those things should be of grave concern and something the front office has to tackle. If they don't it will only be a matter of time until another great team exposes our weakness.

For the last time, Thomas does not work for us as a starter. Our starting backcourt would be a joke defensively with Wade/Thomas. We need to improve our defense not bring in a 5'9 PG with a declining Wade whose defense is slipping.
Wade and Thomas are both pretty good defenders. I realize that you are convinced otherwise, but their defensive metrics are pretty good. There aren't many PGs whose game really makes them take advantage of a height advantage.
Wade's defensive abilities were on full display during the finals (horrible man to man defense, inexcusable rotations, abysmal effort). Remember, he is only going to get older and this year he actually went into the post season and the finals "Healthy". Imagine if he is bruised up or injured slightly next year, how awful will he look then ?
Thomas is good for us on the offensive end but defensively we will be severely lacking which was the main reason we lost to the Spurs.

Does that include Kyrie learning to and committing to playing defense ?
