It's also possible Danny Granger didn't want to go back to the Clips. Especially not if they were going after Pierce. Didn't they already have Matt Barnes and Jared Dudley at the 3 last season when they picked up Granger? Maybe he didn't think they were a good fit for him.

All in all, Danny Granger is not anything to write home about anymore, but for $2 million a year, he was not a bad pickup by any means. Don't let the Miami haters who need to constantly reassure themselves about how **** we are fool you. During the regular season last year, Granger shot just over 32% from three for one team and 35% for another, and averaged pretty much around 8 PPG for both teams. L.A. was where he shot 35% by the way, although it should be noted that that was in just 12 games. Something between 32-35% from 3, 8 PPG and the 16-22 MPG he offered Indy and L.A. during the regular season would be very serviceable at his price tag. And if he's any healthier to the point where he can provide even a little more, considering that with LeBron and Bosh back he'd be on a better offensive team more suited to his strengths, then you're looking at a very worthwhile steal on the cheap.

Granger took less than he could've gotten, IMO. It was a choice. Then again, we have him for crumbs so it doesn't matter. Our staff is pretty good at rehabbing players too, so they can hopefully salvage some of what's left.

Bosh - no way he sees him leaving, obviously. Preference is to stay, it is clear. Agent just doing his job in case it all blows up.

Lebron - Riley usually doesnt announce deals until players are SIGNED. He made a POINT to announce these today to show they are making progress.

Things on twitter seemed to have quieted down since we agreed to terms with McRoberts and Granger. This just sets up perfectly for some news, or me hitting refresh on twitter every 5 seconds until midnight just to lose sleep.
