Also, makes sense since a story I've heard from a few friends of mine in the sports business world is that LeBron and Wade and Bosh and (lol I know) Joe Johnson all talked playing together in '08 as a dream scenario, as teams cleared cap space and it started looking like 2 or 3 teams could clear space for all 3 (if that's what it took) Bosh was the one that pushed for a warm weather city, and that LeBron was indifferent unless/until everything was set/realistic.

That's not shocking, Wade and JJ had great chemistry on that team, playing together off the bench a lot. I remember thinking the players Wade had best chemistry with were JJ and Bosh, actually. He and Elton Brand were actually pretty dynamic in the PnR game too IRRC

everyone says he's out of reach, Hill that is

we need a gem in summer league as our center since its not looking good on that front

Reaching deals with forwards Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger is step one in making the necessary roster additions to improve the Heat. At the very least, Riley has tangible evidence to show James when they meet in the next couple of days to discuss the future. He is letting him know the Heat will spend what is required, including top dollar on Bosh, to win another title after two in four years together.

In the big picture, the Granger and McRoberts agreements give Riley room to present James with a couple of different spending options, including the ability to give Bosh a big contract, too.

This is an interesting angle on the Bosh front.
