Is it possible for pierce to go back to Boston? Cause he wants 9-10mil a year and I think that's the only team that would do something like that lmao

No no no, he did say it. I must have found the wrong post then. He must like to repeat his funny **** for emphasis. I can't come up with a golden quote like that in a million years man!

What I did was, when I went to the PC board, he wasn't actively posting then, so I had to go to some old thread and find him that way, then I just looked through his old posts. It was literally goldmine

You can probably find it in that thread.

****, I need to find what you have in your sig. This is just too funny.

Found it 8-)

It's funny because a lot of the people most critical of small ball seem intent on replacing Bosh with Melo lol.

They also think that Bosh will leave because he won't commit if LeBron only takes a 2 year deal but that won't be a problem for Melo?

Lebron's not signing for that deal. If anything it will be 3 years with option after 2 to coincide with the big bump in salary cap.

This, this makes too much sense. Plus isn't the BIG Free Agency with Durant in 2 years as well?

Rio sucks. Don't want him jamming up a roster spot even if he is to play for free.

No offense but this smacks of lazy "what have you done for me lately" bandwagon fandom. We don't win a 2013 World Championship without Mario Chalmers. Yeah he struggled in the 2014 Finals, but so did literally every Heat player not named LeBron James.

Even if Lebron did want this, which I doubt, I think the Heat using their entire MLE on McRoberts--who can easily play with Bosh & Bron together, but not so easily play with Bron & Melo together--is a pretty good indication of where the front office stands on this front.

Also it gives him an out to live to Cleveland when that team matures if it matures.

because then we can stop pretending we have a Superstar Big man on the team and start signing Bigs, even cheap ones who can only play D and rebound.

from Michigan so ive seen stuckey

He can defend pretty well and create his own shot

He cant hit a 3, his midrange comes and goes and he is a decent finisher

Decent technical passer but court vision is nothing special

Made a lot of money of dumars so he probably wants at least a 6 million per year deal and I don't know if that is overpaying or not because he is a hard player to get a read on

If Riles actually dole out our cap as if it is some kind of pork barrel, then this team is heading the way of the dinosaurs. Period.

Don't agree with this.

We already play a finesse 6'10 PF in Bosh at the Center spot.

Why wouldn't we play McRoberts, also a 6'10 PF, at the Center spot? He's no finesse player either like Bosh.

I am pretty sure LeBron will play point and Melo will play center with McRoberts at the 4.

IIRC we all complain about rio's boneheaded plays but agree that he has a place on this team. Then he played like absolute crap in the finals and complained about touches - this is when you guys started to call for his head, correct?

And in your opinion, who should replace rio? Please don't say Stuckey, Nelson, Hinrich, Blake.

I liked Rio up until maybe last year's playoffs. This year, I think I started to notice that he has **** attitude about game... like when things don't go his way he doesn't seem to confront it but just kind of shrugs off like he doesn't care. I have had a huge issue with that. And I feel like we need a change at our starting point guard position. I don't know.. maybe those guys still like Rio, and want him back, then so be it.

If it's up to me, I am fine with Cole/Napier combo. I've said that like 5 times in the past 500 pages of this nonsense off-season threads.

Fair enough, but think again before you guys write him off so quickly, especially if he's willing to resign for around 3 mil/year. If rio returns, he will be playing his 7th season for the heat nxt season. Out of all the guys who will be on the active roster, only Wade and Haslem have been here longer. The type of familiarity that the franchise has with rio and vice versa is very important especially to a contending team. Plus he is only 28 and still has room to grow.

What about a Sign and Trade with Bosh to Houston? Maybe we can pick up Asik in the deal? Somehow someway?
