The ultimate professional and leader. Glad we didn't pay him that much though. Had cold streaks that gave me a few headaches but I'll still miss the guy.

Last few players to play on that great 2010 squad. Only Goran remains(however long that may be :( ).

Get that money Channing!

I'm not a uofA fan at all, so I didn't care much about him to start. But he did the things that needed to be done, and made the team overall better. Huge props for that Frye, and good luck with you. Don't light us up in the two games we see you.

Great guy, frustrating as a player sometimes, but still very hard to be replaced, given the scarcity of good stretch 4's.

You will be missed when we struggle spacing the floor for Goran and Bledsoe.

Every year he played for us he was 1st or 2nd on the team in net +/- per 48, and led the team in RPM and net +/- per 48 this year. We are going to miss him far more than ya'll know. His defense was better than most people thing (above average according to DRPM)

Great lockerroom guy, great intangibles guy, fantastic at spacing the floor. We may yet regret letting him go if we don't use the cap space on a player like Love in a trade.

I wonder how many players actually look at the Real GM forums. I imagine some do, maybe quite a few, so I'm sure they like to see threads like this. Wasn't sure if people made them because they thought the players might see them or for their own satisfaction or what.

Anyway, Frye, if you are reading this, I will miss what you were able to give the team this year and the fact that you were a team player that helped Dragic gain his all nba status and make his game so much easier. You are a true professional and I'm sure a great teammate that will be missed.

But I imagine Payton will love having you and Gordon will as well. Try and teach Gordon how to shoot free throws.

He hasn't always been the most consistent guy but he's always been a great locker room guy and always gave 100%. Hard to ask for more.

Best of luck to Channing, loved his character, hated watching him play tho  Both team and player benefited from each other so can't complain tbh :)

I think we're really going to regret letting him walk, even if it's only an 8 mil per year contract. That's a lot, but he was the key to the offense last year. You can see how much less space the guards had when he was resting/injured. We'll see if the FO can fill that spot with another shooter...maybe one that can rebound a bit too.

Frye is going to be more appreciated in the future. Especially if we do a whole lot of nothing in this free agency. He makes Goran and Bled better even if he doesn't always hit his shots. Even more than that, he is the leader of the team. You can't just replace that easily.

He gave us some great memories and was part of some great teams. All the best to him.
