Case closed.

And as a footnote, the "cannot rationally be explained" does provide a kind of "right mind" test. The NBA could simply say that a player coming off Wade's Finals appearance could not rationally be expected to earn $42 million over the next two years, and/or would not seemingly forfeit all or a large share of that money without an assurance.

Could be an enormous mistake for Wade...

but more likely than that, for me, is LeBron staying in Miami.

I don't G-A-F either way - I just want Melo back in New York..

MJ was 29 when Phil arrived......

MJ was 26 years old when Phil became head coach. Phil was with MJ as an asst in 87 under Doug Collins.

Is Kyrie even eligible to be traded since he JUST signed an extension? If so, I don't think ALL of his salary can be used for matching.

And I agree, with Melo glamouring for the bright lights I seriously doubts he's eyeballing Cleveland.

Kyrie hasn't signed yet. Nobody can until after the moratorium.

Given the scenario that he gets traded to the Knicks.....would they be able to even include Kyrie since he would have just signed an extension? If I'm not mistaken there's a certain time period that they have to wait after he signs the extension. Or maybe his salary is counted as a smaller percentage if they were to trade him.

If he goes back, not sure what Bron sees in that team unless they make a deal. Love and Irving both overrated, both suck defensively.

There saying he's going to meet with other teams too. I'm assuming it won't be tomm unless Bron Riley he's out .

I forget where I read it, but I think Bron wasn't going to meet with the Heat until he made his decision.

Oh... Well then tomm it is!!

NY_Comeback wrote:Okay guys, just got some LEGIT inside information about what's going down.

Apparently, LeBron will in fact sign back with Cleveland, and Melo is going with him; in a sign & trade deal. Kyrie Irving will be coming back to NY with filler/picks, and Phil will push to either trade for Love by the deadline, or sign him outright in 2015.

Just passing it along...

Hmm. That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for us...
