Why? Do you think he has an overinflated ego like Carmelo or something? Because he has always looked humble and willing to do what it takes for the team in my view. He could still play 30+ minutes off the bench. Players who get caught up on starting and crap like that have serious ego problems.

I don't think it has anything to do with an overinflated ego. If we are tanking like last year, I doubt he wants to come off the bench and I can't say I blame him if he is proving he is good enough to play. If we are contenders, the 6th man position actually means something

I think the Magic are leaning more to defensive players, so Harris may be a 6th man or traded.

I think that Tobias 6th man fantasy is out of date now that we have Fournier. I don't know what will happen with Tobias, but I know he'll be a lot better off long-term with this team if he can improve his 3 point shot.

While defense does win championships, you still have to score more than your opponent to win.

I thought he seemed kinda small for a PF too.

Well, hope Osby finds a home, we've certainly done all we can to help the dude out. Glad Marble will make the cut. As for point guards, how bouts Mo Williams? lol, just kidding.

Rodman was like a 6'7" SF coming into the league and grew into a PF position as it took a good 3 years. If Gordon can become a defensive powerhouse, then I have the patience.

Gordon is still 18. Give him a couple of years to fill out and he is going to be the beastly POWER forward we all desire.

Evan Dunlap @BQRMagic
"Orlando is like the Bucks from last year. No one can figure out what the hell they're doing." Zach Lowe on Bill Simmons' podcast today

I don't agree that we're the Bucks, but I honestly agree. I have absolutely ZERO idea what we are doing. I like the Payton pick up, but every other thing we've done this offseason has been a joke.

Drafting a RAW Aaron Gordon when we're getting ready to make a playoff push,
Claiming Willie Green, who in their right mind even signs Willie Green,
Signing Ben Gordon, I'm not as mad about this move, but if I remember correctly, Ben Gordon is a locker room douche,
Signing Channing Frye to a THIRTY TWO MILLION DOLLAR DEAL OVER FOUR, and I repeat, FOUR YEARS TO A THIRTY ONE YEAR OLD POWER FORWARD!

I honestly am perplexed because I thought we were going to be smart about how we use our assets.

I'm REALLY hoping Hennigan is right about all this, because if we don't make the playoffs this year, I'm on board with ousting him and his little poet of a coach.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

I wish. He'd be awesome. If Perry could pull his string for one player, Billups would be the one.

Other options:
Beno Udrih (old Spurs PG but may have trouble with not playing)
Ronnie Price (should've kept him from jump)
Jarrett Jack (take him off the Cavs' hands)

... Anyone have a scouting report on Beno?

We have too many forwards now, I say our last move would be a surprise!

Who is our 2nd PG?

VO may play that spot, but he's not a PG.

Luke Ridnour, Jerryd Bayless, Brian Roberts, Earl Watson are all guys who could fill that role.

I like Luke. I don't think the other two have much to offer to Payton, and the other players.

I also like Blake, but doubt he comes here to be 3rd string.
