I'm sorry, still don't see Philly taking on Stat this year just so they can get their hands on Shump who they will have to pay next year. Getting rid of Bargs maybe more doable but even that would seem hard based on past deals.

Praying Carl is right but only thing that doesn't make sense is what he said last night about Melo overlap with LeBron. Why would teaming in NY be any different (b/c of Gasol?)?

Absolutely. They have to pay him next year - and he's frankly shown very little since he hurt his knee. They can probably get a #1 from Houston for taking Lin, and Lin might actually help them.

We also just need to find a second buyer..Magic, Bucks come to mind.. but also the Heat. If the Heat are put in a situation where they will lose LeBron regardless then they might play ball with us.

One would think that the Heat would consider a Bargs/THJr trade
