Melo in Miami doesn't make any sense. He doesn't give them size plus he overlap with Lebron.

Not because of the money, or the hoops that have to be jumped through, or any other of the B.S. out there.

I honestly just don't believe he wants it. I don't think it's in him. He's already taken the easy path once, and I don't think a leopard changes his spots. I definitely hope I'm wrong, though.

Earlier I was reading the Heat board and the general consensus is that they are greatful for the 2 Chips. They had their fill it seems and many posters wouldn't hate Lebron if he leaves.
many feel he's a mercenary of sorts.

Honestly, he'd be much better off going to Cleveland - which has potentially a much more balanced team.

Kyrie is soooooo overrated

I'd lik to see him play with a real team before calling him overrated but im leaning towards feeling the same way

To be fair, he made that comment after he was a bit freaked out by the exposure and also no Bosh in Miami scenario but Pau in our scenario (size).

Carl could be a troll, buy he broke the biggest story in the NBA over the past yar two days before anyone else. That buys a lot of trust with me.

bout right?

I don't blame him

I dunno--something about him taking that stance rubs me the wrong way.

If he is, in effect, blaming the roster for the teams lack of success last year, it says a lot about his ability (or inability) to trust his teammates and leadership.

I'm a huge Melo supporter, but if he approaches the game this way, we're probably better off without him.

Really can't believe Melo would to Lakers for the max. Kobe + Melo + Pau + minimum players is not even a playoff team.

Maybe... and if LeBron was coming they would.

Obviously they would give up the farm if it meant Melo and Lebron. But I still don't see it being that easy to move Stat and/or Bargs.

If Philly is willingly taking on salary in exchange for a middle of the road prospect why wouldn't Chicago be calling them with a Boozer/Butler/Snell package? Chicago could even add in one of their picks. Philly could possibly get back a better prospect who doesn't have the injury history, a pick sooner then any we could give, and take on less money all for helping the Bulls get more cap room for Melo. Wouldn't that be a better more likely deal then taking on Stat?
All-Time Draft

PG- Oscar Robertson/Bob Cousy
SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning
