My line of thinking is simple. If Riley had gotten the indication that the Big 3 weren't coming back, he'd have been more aggressive with a larger checkbook. Bosh wouldn't have been out roaming the globe. Riley filling a need for bench playmaking ability, while everyone else makes it seem like the empire is falling told me all I needed to know. Drafting aggressively to solve a weakness on the team instead of trading up for a building block, his actions speak very loud.
