That's a contract scarily reminiscent of Rudy Gay's. That's the kind of contract you sign, immediately regret, and then trade a 1st round pick to get rid of it.

I was feeling kind of safe after he left with little news. A little disappointed, only because I want us to get something done and I had a feeling we are not going to pursue Lance.

Now I'm cringing at the thought of a max contract that goes unmatched.

Kemba and Al are going to tell us to make it rain next year!

I don't mind it at all. Its an overpay, but thats what we had to do since hes a RFA. Utah will more than likely match.

Mama there goes that man.....

Cho must be banking on Corbin being the worlds worst coach and mishandled Hayward big time

I just can't see a way Utah matches this. There is no way Utah is paying Hayward that money.

I can't say enough bad stuff about this. This is absolutely **** absurd. I say the chances of Utah matching are quite low and we're going to be stuck with a **** albatross contract. I'm **** appalled that this team even considered an offer $20M lower, let alone giving him THE FULL MAX when much greater talents such as Lance Stephenson were still readily available. Utah can't match this deal fast enough. I'm going to be **** sick if they don't.

Well the last season he was with Jefferson he shot 41% from 3. Good facilitator as well and will help Walker immensely. He is a REALLY good fit here. Is he overpaid? Yeah, but so was Jefferson supposedly last season as well.
