No thanks.

Cut out DET and NOP.

Make it a simple Rondo for Parsons swap.

No need to make it more than that.

Even with that I don't love the value.

I wouldn't trade Rondo for him straight up. 1. I just don't like Westbrook, so I wouldn't do the trade just based on that.

I've got more reasons as well.

2. He doesn't know how to play with other people, all he thinks about himself and Durant
3. the C's are going to continue to rebuild and we wouldn't be bad enough and 4. he's getting way too much money.

That is a bad team. Sorry. That team is the perfect Definition of a treadmill team. That team is good enough to get into the playoffs, but is not good enough to win you a championship any time soon.

AFAM. That's not a treadmill team. It's young and has upward potential. I just think it's a bad team.

I dont want Stephenson on this team to be completely honest. But if Danny believes otherwise I would give him the benefit of the doubt. No doubting that he is a quality player.

Dont want Hibbert unless we keep Rondo. Makes no sense to trade Rondo for Hibbert.

Rondo - Smart - Green - Olynyk - Hibbert with a deep bench (including Sully, Bradley, Young etc) + a load of picks could be an interesting team.

I wouldnt add Parsons. I would do what Morey did, save assets until you can add a top ten player (preferably SF or PF) to Rondo/Hibbert.

Just saying I would enjoy taking a flyer on Bismack, don't know what it would cost but can't be that much... At this point a corpse is a better option at 5 than anyone on the roster, and The Biz did at least lead the NBA in best (lowest) Opponents FG% at rim with 38.8%. His Blks and steals per possession is also top 5 in the league. I mean he's a ghost offensively but he's still 21 years old... not to mention these gems I found on the YouTubes:

Dudes getting cut in that Crossfit gym, lets get him in Boston... because its really the only option left.

Bass to Charlotte might be appealing to both parties now that McRoberts buzzed down to Miami.

Youre funny. You would nt trade Rondo for Westbrook, but you would for Roy Hibbert and a sack of peanuts.

At least you have your priorities straight.

If the Hornets are legit about being interested in Hump could we S&T him for Bismack? His market would probably fall around 4M which is pretty close to DA BIZ...

Replace KO with Bass, and the deal looks slightly better.

Saw an article not long ago that Hornets may be giving up on him. he is still just 21 though...soooo much potential still. If just Hump would get him in an S/T scenario that would be great. My guess is we may need to include clippers pick? they could just sign him for 4 million.

I think Humps market will be higher though...I bet he will get plenty of full mid level offers and perhaps higher.
he is a solid rotation PF / C who is in his prime. I could see him getting 3/24 or 4/32.

Trade Ideas Thread

The Celtics trade Rajon Rondo to the Bucks for Larry Sanders, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and a 2016 1st round pick. The Celtics get younger while taking a risk with Sanders and the Bucks get an all star point guard in Rondo to pair with Jabari Parker and their new coach Jason Kidd. Thoughts on the deal?

The Bucks’ interest in McGary could intensify if he has a strong workout and if they are successful in trading troubled center Larry Sanders.

Contrary to a report, the market for Sanders is virtually non-existent as he not only has been plagued by off-court issues — he is expected to enter a rehab facility this summer — but will be entering the first of a four-year, $44 million contract next season.

Guys I'm targeting for Trades:
-BIZMACK A-JACK
-"how could ya be" Mo Harkless
-Kyle O'Quinn (can't lose with a last name of O'Quinn in Beantown)
-Ben McLemore but not Ryan Lewis

Actual reasoning’s:
Bizzy B from the defensive perspective could be considered easily in the top 5 in the NBA. His OppFG% was tops in the NBA at 38.8% while also being a blk/stl machine (86 blks in only 13.9Mins per game). The craziest thing is he’s 21 meaning he was younger than like 30+ dudes in this year’s draft. It seems like The Hornets could use 1 more PF/C to complete their rotation of Big Al, Vonleh, and Zeller so Hump or even Bass would work there.

Mo Harkless seems to be overlooked even on his own team struggling to get burn over Tobias, and they just used their 4th pick on a Wing defender in Air Gordon. But the fact remains he is also 21 yrs old standing at 6’8.75” and 7’ wing and better efficiency numbers than Green (and WAY better than Heyward LOL) at 46.4%FG and 38.3% 3pt (also 50.2% 2Pt which is VERY good). Oh and hes a great defender putting up 1.2stl and 0.6blks a game with awesome quickness and athleticism (37” max vert).

O’Quinn might not be able to be had but I would definitely try. He’s 24 and put up crazy defensive metrics 46.2% OppFG but averaged 1.3Blks and 0.6stls in 17 minutes a game which is incredibly efficient. He’s also size wise comparable to Gibson at 6’10” and 7’4.75” wing and could develop into that kind of PF.

Ben McLemore played poorly as a Rook but has one of the best shooting mechanics I’ve seen since Ray. He could be a deadly shooter if given some time to develop and the Nik Stauskis pick combined with the draft day McLemore trade rumors here give hope that they would be willing to move him for picks (maybe that CLE 1st DA just sniped)

Indy trades: Hibbert and S&T Stephenson
Indy gets: 1st rounder from Boston, Kevin Martin, Thornton, Green or Wallace, Zeller

Boston trades: Bass, Thornton, Zeller, Olynyk or Sullinger, Green or Wallace, Young, 3 1st round picks
Boston gets: Hibbert and Love

Minnesota trades: Love and Kevin Martin
Minnesota gets: Stephenson, Bass, Olynyk or Sullinger, Young, 2 1st rounders from Boston

Put together quickly but think the money works out if Stephenson starts at around $10-12 million.
