I just think the media narrative is hilarious.
How is CLEVELAND a better basketball situation than Miami?
They just lost the backup to an injury plagued PG, they lost a backup center in Zeller, they lost Hawes, they're likely losing Deng, they lost Karasev. They have Varejao, who himself is injury prone; they have Anthony Bennett and it remains to be seen if he's a bust. They have Wiggins, and it remains to be seen how good of a basketball player he is. Meanwhile, they Heat have nothing on their books, and have basically already IMPROVED their roster.
This is utterly ridiculous. ESPN acts like LeBron going back to Cleveland is redemption, like its a GREAT thing for all the fans he left four years ago. What are we, **** on toast? Does our fandom not matter because the HEAT have NO REAL FANS? Give me a break. This is utter nonsense. If LeBron leaves, that team will be struggling for a while. For all the supposed "talent' they have, they couldn't even make the EC playoffs last year. Hell, even Charlotte did that.
