So what that Miller was injured constantly, he was still a major contributor to the team and hit big shots when needed to. I definitely think the meeting with Riley is a farewell meeting. I think he'd rather tell them in person instead of texting or calling about it.

If Lebron is leaving because Mike Miller was let go, then let his primadonaa ass hit the door on the way out.
**** him if that's the case.

What if the Cavs move Wiggins/other contracts...to get LeBron...

so they can outright sign Melo?

(Is that possible? )

Knicks are going to have a TON of Cap space next year that would stupid. I see KD and Melo in NYC.

He wanted us to win now, but he's trying to go to a team that won't even come close to winning it all until he's 33.

I still think he stays.

Not saying that's THE reason for him leaving, but amnestying Miller was legit a d*ck move from Arison.

We can't get anything, they have the max space

I thought you can't trade unless there is no space?

After they possibly get Lebron, they can do a sign and trade for Love. They would give up Wiggins, which is a huge risk

Lebron wants to team up with players who never played in the playoffs, and recruit Ray, JJ, and Miller

That would be something else tbh. It's possible as well if Lebron commits to the Cavs, not gon lie

its wierd, bad feeling but I just dont see Cleveland making all these moves and even trading Zeller just to get stoned by Lebron a second time. I dont like it. Either that or the Cavs realy disrespected Lebron by putting this pressue on him and making aquiring and trading away players that he did not want.

Best case we get Lebron back. Worst case we lost Lebron and didnt get Zeller, Wiggins and all those first round picks
Cleveland has to give up.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Need to check if a sign and trade would allow Lebron to add a 5th year to his contract that he couldn't get otherwise. I don't think that's the case, can anyone confirm?

Anyway IF he does need the S&T, would be really interesting to see what we could get.

Lol @ some of you guys thinking that Bosh would stick around if LeBron is gone. Bosh already knows he can get more and similar money in Houston, and he knows that Wade would miss 20+ games in the regular season, etc. Why would he stick around?
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation

Incorrect. Heat can offer a 5 yr deal with 7.5% raises, while the Cavs can only provide him with a 4 yr deal with 7.5% raises. So a S&T will give James that 5th year and more overall money.

He didn't ask his best players to take paycuts. They decided to take paycuts to play together. This isn't MLB where everyone gets paid whatever they want.

Sorry, Miller had some nice games for us in the playoffs but he's not worth $17M to sit injured on the bench and he sure as heck isn't the difference between a 4-1 ass whopping by the Spurs and another parade. Supposedly Lebron is not happy that Wade is always out but he's ok Mike Miller?

Like many have said, If LeBron really does care more about his rep in Cleveland, being close to his home in Akron, and his legacy there than he does about winning immediately and everything we've done for him, then let him go. Aside from the mistake of amnestying Mike Miller, what more could we have done? We will definitely challenge for championships a lot sooner than Cleveland and already have. I'm still confident he'll stay, but if his priorities aren't in check then goodbye.

If Lebron leaves, it would be awesome if Riley reloads with Melo, keeps Bosh, Wade takes a paycut so they can add Gasol.

Shabbaaz
Wade
Melo
Bosh
Gasol

Mcroberts
Birdman
Cole

I think that crushes Lebron plus a bunch of inexperienced kids.

Let's see because he loves Miami and will be playing under a proven winner in Riley with cap space to build around?

No, one of the new changes in the CBA to help make the Heat's 2010 haul more unlikely in the future is that you can no longer get a better deal on a S&T than you could signing outright. He can get 5 years and 7.5% raises in Miami and in Miami only. S&T or not, anywhere else, most he can do is 4 years, 4.5% raises.

The only reason to S&T is if the receiving team doesn't have the cap space to sign a player outright. Here, the Cavs have the space, so there is literally zero reason for them to S&T for him. They'll just sign him if he does indeed go there.

Dude's not getting a 5th year, or even 4th. It's well know that he means to become a FA in 2016 to reap the benefits of the new TV deal.
