5'7 catch-and-shoot three-point shooter. Can drive to the basket a little bit but otherwise has zero handles and is forced to play the off-guard. Weighs about 140, none of which is actually muscle. Has grazed fingertips on the bottom of the rim exactly once ever. Injury-prone, easily tired, not in great shape. Irritatingly inconsistent with jumper. Once scored all 16 points for the team in a USC pickup game, mostly on catch-and-shoot situations in the corner, then bricked everything the next game. Can't defend significantly bigger or faster players. Good offball defender and contests shots well, but can't defend the drive. Finishing ability limited due to lack of size and strength and is working on a Parker-esque floater off the dribble. Rarely goes inside anyway so it doesn't matter. Has never PJ Hairstoned anyone.

So you're basically Luke Ridnour, we'll sign you tomorrow!

Who is your agent?

Whoever Ben Gordon's agent is. If he can get Ben Gordon 4.5M a year, I can get the max.

I agree it's exceedingly likely that the Jazz will match, but I'm still waiting on a direct quote to that effect from someone who matters. probably in the next few hours, I'd guess.

I want them to match, Gordon will be a great fit here but we can find a cheaper and arguably better alternative in Lance or Parsons

I hope they don't string us along the whole 3 days and just go ahead and match it, otherwise the next few days are really going to suck for us.

Hopefully LeBron doesn't make any decisions between those 3 days. Once he decides, that's when all comprising parts will start moving

what's the best case scenario for this playing out from Utah's perspective? seems like any way you cut it, they've kinda botched the situation with Hayward a little bit. to the tune of $15M on the low end of estimates. to losing a player that's really important to them on the high end.

Word is that he's announcing his decision at 6pm tonight, so we may be SOL if the Jazz decide to dick with us. I would if I were in their shoes, so....lol?

That is probably what they'll do. If they know they will match no matter what they might as well force us to keep our cap tied up for a few days. Matching immediately would be helping us for no reason. Watch Lance sign somewhere for 11 million a year and Parsons for like 8-10 while we are waiting on Utah to match. This was a stupid move all around.

Hopefully our front office is not that stupid and has already reached out to Stephenson/Parsons' agents to let them know that a similar deal is waiting for them if Utah matches our offer.

He'd be great on the Hornets, especially after a tough year being the best guy on a team full of scrubs. Take it from someone who watched every game and isn't a Jazz fan: he can play and is a great signing for Charlotte. Fits in perfectly, percentages will go up. More athletic than given credit for, better defender than given credit for and the ability to score on and off the ball from deep, midrange, close range and from the line make him a complete player on offense.

Honestly if he didn't look like a videogamer he'd be more popular.

Charlotte is on the way UP!

If Stephenson wasn't such an idiot at times he would have already gotten paid.

Melo is the key though. Hopefully, he'll wait out the day so that he can have all attention on him tomorrow night. You know everything thing will be about Lebron tonight and most of tomorrow. That at least gives us a little bit of leeway.
