Ya bro SSOL isn't enough to get to the Finals. It's just enough to get us to Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals with like, 7 players in our rotation at that point.

Ya bro. SSOL doesn't work in the playoffs because it suddenly stopped working when we got to the Western Conference Finals two years in a row, and to what was basically the NBA Finals the year after that before getting screwed by Tony Parker's stupid **** face, Tim Donaghy, and Robert Horry.

Ya bro. Running and gunning doesn't work bro.

Get the **** outta here.

Max contracts have nothing to do will talent, be it the players own talent or his talent compared to another player.

The determining factor is what teams are willing to pay to acquire any player. If a team really wants a particular player they will and have offered max contracts to many players not deserving one based on talent. Talent is part of the equation but certainly not the determining factor.

That is our potential issue with both Bledsoe now and Goran next summer. Both are probably not worth the max but if a team offers them the max we probably will match due to their importance to our franchise.

If our management thinks Monroe is a key to our franchise going forward with no better solution going forward I expect that we will offer the max. The ball will then be in Detroits court.

Unfortunately max contracts are not just reserved for players like Lebron and Durrant, who are legitimate franchise changing players.

I expect that we will see multiple max contracts offered in the next few days, like the one Hayward received. We all can then scratch our heads in unison.

Some do? Again, I think he is going to Cleveland. BUT you can't even see what is in those trucks. Don't assume.

I agree. I match any offer (barring there isn't a S&T that is attractive) but don't just give a guy near max because he wants it. Let the market set the price and then pay whatever that price is or a little more. You could also go 5 years and a little less per year to help out with your cap space each year, and they might take that for the extra financial security. LIke 68 over 5 as opposed to another team offering 63 over 4, see if he takes it...that's under 14 a year....or 70 over 5 would be 14 a year....see if they go for that if you'd rather pay less annually.

SSOL can work...

Assuming your big men can rebound and still protect the paint in the other end...

Imagine Suns having Garnett or Duncan or a David Robinson/Hakeem Olajuwon etc guarding the paint and running in transition every time they grab the rebounds. Basically If Amare Stoudemire was a better rebounder and interior defender... suns would be 2 time champion IMO.

Shame Amare was a below average defender... Had he been just a slightly above average... suns would be so much better.

Also SSOL worked because Suns had PG who could put up 40 point games if he needed to... Like what Nash did to Mavs.

SSOL only works if the PG is totally open to pushing the tempo...

Bledsoe has been criticised for holding the ball sometimes... Dragic when pushing the tempo seems to have scoring in his mind most of the time... Nash was different... He constantly pushed and looked for open team mates... He also rarely picked up his dribble in the paint which allowed him options in the offensive end...

When Lebron leaves Miami, does the Heat renege on McBob and Grangers handshake deals? I mean both parties agreed but cant become formal until tomorrow.

It's probably not even his house...

But I just struggle to fathom to move a house full of items every 7-8 months.

Even the cars... Geez .

If I was just in vacation and I was a multi-multi-millionaire... Id most likely already have multiple houses with furniture and garage full of cars.... And hire a house keeper, pay them 60k a year to look after my house when I'm away.

2 semi truck worth of house items is like moving "out" completely type of move.

Anyways as I said.. We don't even know of that's Lebron's house.... I could go around a rich area and take photos of people moving out and say its Lebron to get thousands of twitter tags.

Good Q. Could have been conditional on LeBron's return. I'm sure McBob just wants to get paid.

The Pistons and Monroe are believed to have discussed a deal somewhere in the range of the five-year, $60 million contract center Marcin Gortat agreed to last week to remain with the Washington Wizards.

I dont like him on a personal level but I think the best signing to improve the Suns today would be Stephenson, maybe do something like a two year max sell him on the fact he will get to capitalize on a max contract for two years and if he continues to improve he will get another max. I dont want to be tied to him long term but I would overpay short term I think he makes us a scary team in the playoffs if he can keep his head straight and hopefully Hornecek can help there.

That's a steal for Monroe.

I'll probably get banished for this, but would it be worth it to take back Stevenson (at a decent enough price) and Hibbert for Goran straight up?

I'm not even sold on the idea, but if Hibbert plays to his potential/what he is capable of playing, it's a steal, right?

Ya, i cant stand Hibbert he is a complete stiff and now on top of that his is a mental case and way over paid there is no way we can take Hibbert doesnt fit this team and no reason to take him on Stephenson is a free agent we can sign him outright without giving up anything.

I wonder if they were contingent on LeBron being there. There is also the chance those guys would like to test the market again if he isn't there.

But if LeBron leaves, they will be under the cap and can't use those exceptions so they'd have to sign them outright with cap space.

At this point, Plumlee > Hibbert.

Man we really fleeced the Pacers in that deal.

He WAS worth it, at some point. I think we can mostly agree to that. If not worth it, SOMEWHAT worth it. But you think he's broken beyond repair now? Never to see the light of day again? I'm unsure, it could go either way. I think the only way to get him back is to have a vet though, which we won't have with Goran and Frye gone. Hmm..
