What Lebronjames.com looked like just over 1.5 months back on May 23, 2014

Notice the red and black theme, all pictures of him on the Heat.

Notice the header "Just a kid from Akron, Ohio" <<< Playing up his CLE roots

Only pic of him on MIA is him with his trophies; other pic is him with a hat that says "Akron"

The Saint Vincent-Saint Mary color scheme of the website (green and gold, his HS colors)

Cleveland skyline in the background.

Thoughts?

Yeah man he's been holding out on talking to anyone in the business and filtering all his thoughts through his agent Rich Paul, no one in the basketball industry has any idea what he's doing. But he went up to his website designer a few weeks ago and whispered "I'm going back to Cleveland, redesign my web page."

That was my first thought too upon looking at that web site today. I was searching for any other Miami pictures but it was just that one. I also noticed the Akron thing too. But then again, it doesn't look like it showed a ton of Miami stuff in the older version of the site either so that may not mean much.

I think the bigger thing pointing to him going back to Cleveland is the fact that he's supposedly going to announce his decision on the site. Why direct people to your site and try to get hits there if all you're going to do is announce that everything is going to remain the same? You'd want to direct people there to make them say wow. Like seeing an image that says "the return" or whatever or something saying he's back in Cleveland. Just my opinion.

And if you look closely at one of windows in the building in the background you can see Mo Williams sticking his head out, saying the words "take me with you".

If that were proof, why have a picture of him in a heat jersey? Wouldn't it make sense to have a team-neutral pic?

Good point. LeBron himself is a brand.

No way he plays up his CLE roots on his site and then says "I'm staying with the Heat!"

He already knows "The Decision" was a mistake the first time around. No way he plays up this Decision 2.0 unless he's going back to the Cavs (to help repair his image from the first one).

Proof? That word, I don't think it means what you think it means.

This absolutely is pure speculation. However, it is very intriguing, and coupled with other stuff today, i.e the Cavs salary dump, it's fairly convincing.

his website has been changed to the new design on June 4th so I guess he already knew he was losing the Finals and going back to Cleveland
