I think he should go because the Heat cannot be better than they were two seasons ago. The teamed achieved but peaked. Wade is not going to be better. By leaving, the memories of being in Miami will be of reaching a logical time to exit.

The Cavs have assets and they are his home. Lebron is too good not to be a part of a successful team. He deserves to be wherever he wants. New excitement, new challenge, new role, and actually less pressure to win it all are in Cleveland.

Why in the world would it be a sign and trade? When we did it in 2010 it was because the CBA back then allowed him to get that extra year. This new CBA would allow for the max in a sign and trade to be the same if the cavs signed him outright. Only reason for a sign and trade would be if he were going to a team without any cap room.

So in reality, I'm pretty sure it would NOT be a sign and trade.

Like Mopper pointed out, there's no reason for them to do a S&T. They cleared enough cap space this morning, and Lebron doesn't beenfit from it either.

Don't know why so many of you folks were ever believing it. We won a couple of chips with LeBron. That is fine. If he leaves, he leaves. But Melo coming was never a reality.

come on guys. I have a hard time seeing lebron leave to cavaliers.

Let me play devils advocate here and i still think Lebron is signing a two year deal here.

Lebron has seen Wade day to day and knows if he is done. Right now if i hold a gun to your head and say pick with Irving or Wade who would you chose? Again just playing devils advocate here. The Gilbert thing is odd but what if privately Gilbert has gone down on his knees begging forgiveness? Its possible but again i think unlikely. I still feel Lebron signs here but we do need to do some major reworking on our defensive system.
