Yeah he brings all his toys with him just in case.

Just don't share your toys with him, because next thing you know he'll be calling them behind your back trying to lure them over to his house (e.g., Ray Allen, Mike Miller, James Jones).

This is just pathetic. Whether he resigns or not lol a basketball player literally has taken people hostage. Just relax so what if he leaves?? We become a lottery team? OK so what. Miami has never been a team that stays bad for long. Unlike cavs that have been disgraces since their inception couldn't win with lebron and tanked 4 years to acquire number one picks

Less pressure to win? How so? Hes already won with us... if he goes crawling back to them and doesnt win, forget it.

No expectations.

They instantly go to mid forty-plus wins in the east. Playoffs would be exciting enough for Cleveland. At this point only championships satisfy Miami fans.

Lebron becomes a good guy and again a savior going back to Cleveland. He gets only diminishing returns coming back to Miami.

(Cavs just traded Jack to make way for Lebron signing).

Here's what I'm confident saying we know:

(1) The Heat are going to LeBron to pitch LeBron on something (and this is something they didn't think they would have to do, even as recently as a week ago). What it is they're going to pitch, we don't know, but it obviously involves some moving pieces because Elisburg will be there. Whether those pieces involve him or just Wade/Bosh is also unknown. Who knows. We do know that, from 2010, Elisburg was the most influential person in selling LeBron that this all could work.

(2) The Cavs made a trade that they had to make for two reasons, one to clear cap space, two and this can't be stressed enough, because the only way they could do it and not take back salary involved Boston's traded player exception WHICH WAS EXPIRING. Is it coincidentally close to the Heat/LeBron meeting? Yes, absolutely, but the reason it happened was because it was literally on a timer set to hit zero. That part is underplayed and I think, really significant in terms of context.

(3) Everything else is just peripheral noise.
