Changed my mind on Lance Stephenson. I did some research on his past incidents - the dude's character does not fit this team. Great player, but PR problem waiting to happen. :(

Slash bros won't have room to operate if you have a bunch of bigs clogging the lane. They'll be forced to settle for long jumpers.

I'd take Ilyasova for free if they want to clear his contract. I just don't know if I'd be willing to give up anything of value. That's the problem with having a roster full of pieces you like!

Yeah, I do too. That could be the main reason to just sign some guys (maybe even if they are not perfect fits)...to have some more trade options...use our cap space while we have it, and look at trade options mid season and/or beyond.

So I just was in front of Alex Oriakhi at Potbelly downtown and according to his sources (himself mostly), he enjoys the Italian sandwich, no chips and a drink. Stay tuned for more details....

Because he is the second best stretch 4 in the NBA (and much better rebounder than Frye) and can be had for a decent price.

No Hibbert, dude had mental breakdown in last years playoffs. And no to Lance that dudes just plain mental.

But we don't know the price. Last we heard the price was Gerald and a 1st. Would you pull the trigger on that? Also, his injury last year was not exactly minor. It really is an interesting idea, and I'd take him on for free (like w/Ily) if they want to clear some space, but beyond that I just don't know.

Assuming he can guard the 3 night in and night out, our back court would be bar none. I couldn't think of one, from 1 to 3, that is better. Add Monroe, which I think he can be had with a S&T to pry him from DET, that's a young, athletic, hard nosed team!

Bled/Ennis
Goran/Goodwin
Stephenson/Warren
Monroe
Plum/Len

Steph and Monroe at about 10 per. That's about the best we can do since missing out on LBJ.

Plus that is assuming we get rid of the Morris twins and Tuck.

Outside of Goran, no one on that team can hit a 3. The Suns would be terrible. Bledsoe/Dragic need spacing to work properly. That's so much clogging in the lane.

I think I'm done reading the forum for a bit, or at least with my miniscule participation. Channing gone hurts the team, I'd be down for trying out an Anderson trade, but not if it hurts the team depth... or an Ilyasolva trade, I thought he was great a couple seasons ago, but playing in Milwaukee will drain anyone's game eventually.

Anyway... hopefully the Suns FO can get some stuff done and try to retain the chemistry from last year, while adding some under-the-radar pieces again. To mentally taxing trying to come up with this that would allow the team to do that... I'll leave it up to them.

Also... I hope Lebron gets to the finals every season for the rest of his career, only to get completely annihilated and embarrassed.

With LBJ out of the picture, why haven't we just iced Bled? No need to wait for other teams. Something else in the works where we want to wait to sign Bled last?

I've heard everyone on here talking about Anderson, but I have yet to see reports that the Pels are shopping him. Did I miss something, or are you just making up that he can be had at a decent price?

Well, if he signs with the Heat or Cavs, it'll happen. Wouldn't happen had he not been an idiot and signed with us.

I would give first rounder (lottery protected) for him, if he is injury free.

Because Bled is the one we can wait the most on, being a RFA. And Bled wouldn't agree to a sub-max deal with us before finding out what other teams would offer him. Very likely we'll end up matching a max.

Some Pels` insider was talking about Green + 1 for Anderson deal some time ago.

Hmmm... I love draft picks.

I'd give them the Minnesota "pick" though :P

How about this

PHX receives: Al Horford

IND receives: Goran Dragic

ATL receives: Roy Hibbert, Gerald Green, 1st round pick from Indiana

But Anderson may not be expendable just because of Asik. You can still play Asik and Anderson each 30 minutes and Davis 36 in the frontcourt, depending on matchup.

Ersan llyasova would be a head scratcher to me.
He's locked in for 3 more years and is making 8mil per.

Yeah he's younger but frye was a guaranteed fit knowing the ins and outs of the system for years.
I don't like that idea

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.
