Very unlikely. There is no particular reason to believe that Lebron would want to sign in Toronto over several other teams.

Is Toronto championship ready? No.

Is Toronto a great market for Lebron to make more money over major US markets? No.

Does Lebron have any particular personal or professional ties to bring him to Toronto? No.

Does Toronto look to have the capspace to sign Lebron outright, thus avoiding the need to engineer a deal with Miami when Miami doesn't want him to leave? No.

Right now we are more ready than the Cavs are. The Love trade needs to happen for that team to really be taken serious as having a shot at getting out of the East. As it stands they are just way too inexperienced. Adding Ray Allen and Mike Miller won't help either.

Bobcat apparently said this months ago based on his own gut feeling. Lol. And the riddick bowe tweets are a joke, he also said the leafs traded the #8 pick for James.

Why this isn't locked yet and the poster that created this thread isn't banned yet is a bigger mystery.

Is Toronto championship ready? If Lebron joins us then we are

Is Toronto a great market for Lebron to make more money over major US markets? Why not? Toronto is just as good as any...Canada Wide...better than Cleveland

Does Lebron have any particular personal or professional ties to bring him to Toronto? Close with Bobcat

Does Toronto look to have the capspace to sign Lebron outright, thus avoiding the need to engineer a deal with Miami when Miami doesn't want him to leave? No.

The difference though is that Lebron has pretty strong ties to Cleveland. he doesn't have those ties to Toronto.

And if he goes to Cleveland then it seems likely to me that the Cavs package some of their young, high draft picks to bring good players in their primes.

Bob doesn't know a damn about the NBA. I cringe listening to his show at times when he brings up basketball.

I don't agree that there's no reason to go to Toronto. If he brings the Raptors a Championship he's more popular than Wayne Gretzky in Canada.

Yes, I agree with all this as reasons he would go back there. But your argument that right now as current constructed Cleveland is any more championship ready than another Miami run with the Big 3, Washington or Toronto or Indiana or even Chicago, is a pretty debatable one. If LeBron wants to hop on a team at a championship level, Cleveland currently ranks well below several EC teams.

And Cleveland needs more than just "good players". They will need another star. Love is the trade that must happen.

Wiggins is an unknown. If Love trade doesn't happen, it's Uncle Drew and Bron Bron plus a bunch of kids. Doesn't sound like a championship team to me.

Would he be able to sign for one year, then get max next year? Or next year his contract would have significant increase?

Bobcat is old and basically sleepwalks through his program these days. He cares little of basketball and is regular out-classed on the subject by any caller who calls in.

Put nothing into this whatsoever.

I will now leave this thread and watch it reach 30 pages because people will believe anything they want to believe.

At least his unabated bashing of Bargs was justified.

He was hardly going out on a limb with that call.
