It makes zero sense in the context of the other moves so far. If you're a serious player for LeBron, you don't junk up your cap space with additional salary commitments for Williams/Patterson/Vasquez.

Maybe we are doing them a slolid by working out a sign and trade and we need the assets to be able to facilitate the move and help them fill out their roster. I beleive that is also the only way that we could offer James 5 years as was reported by Bowe right? (yeah I know credable source) remember Miami gave us the pick for bosh when they realy didnt have too. Just guessing though.
