I'd guess Eric Gordon, since we seem hell bent on having a guy named Gordon being our most expensive player.

Okay I think I can fashion my Kelly Tripucka bobblehead into a shiv. We can arrange a board meetup sometime next week and end it.

I'd rather offer NOP Hendo for EJ personally.

Offer Minny Hendo+Hairston+Taylor for K-Mart etc.

Hayward's contract doesn't seem so outlandish when you consider the fact that at $14.8 million, he'll be making less next year than the sum of Ben Gordon and Brendan Haywood's salaries from last year, which was $15.2 million.

Better to have the money going to a player who will actually be playing.

Keep in mind that MJ will be paying Tyrus Thomas over 9 million this coming season for staying away.

They will match. The luxury tax threshold will be like 80 million in 2017/2018. Hayward and Favors only would make up 29 of that. Exum will still be on his rookie deal that year. There is also the stretch provision under the new CBA the Jazz can use in that last year if the contract interferes with things.

I think Michael Kidd Gilchrist and a future first would be enough to let him walk. But more than likely Jordan will just take the money and give it to Lance. He might not be available in 4 days though.

So you think this was poorly played by the Hornets?

I do. We screwed ourselves.

We'll if they match we would be eternally grateful if they did it at 12:02. Obviously they won't because we jammed them up

They won't do Cho any favors trust me. They have a history with him when he was running Portland and offered a toxic deal to Millsap. The Jazz were able to keep Millsap, but the Miller's had to take out a loan, ultimately, it ended up being a wise choice.

So Cho is an ****? That's nice. It seemed it was tough for him to do business at the trade deadline this year.

He honestly didnt think Utah would match. With an offer like that I dont blame him. Tough to put all your eggs in one basket though.

Going to be sad when Cody Zeller is the second best starting deep threat we have on the roster next year. I wish I was kidding.

I'm wishing we could have just drafted Stauskas, traded for an extra pick and drafted McGary, kept Napier, and re-signed McRoberts. I think it would have taken a lot less effort to get those things done than what we are trying to do now, and I think it would have left us in a better position now and going forward. Maybe add Stephenson in the mix with whatever money we would have leftover and I think you have a solid young core that complements each other and has talent spread over each position.

I was all over the Mcgary pick, and other than BD i was laughed at. That kid runs up and down the floor and handles the ball at an insane level for his size.

How long have we had shooting and spacing issues now? He has been able to do nothing about it. How could so much time pass while being aware of a major issue and not one thing be done to address it? Gross incompetence.

Hes tried with Neal, Tolliver, CDR, and now went to extreme measures with Hayward. I know where you're going with MKG.

If Denver is indeed close to signing Mike Miller you have to think Denver wants to deal Chandler or Gallo

As official as it can get. Woj reports Jazz will match, but take the full 3 days.
