I have stated before, but my feeling is that we need to pick how we want to play:
If we are going to have West and Roy on the block, we should surround them with perimeter threats. Lance does not fit here. He should either be playing with the second unit or on another team. Replace Lance with Copeland/Butler/Miles...and the offense has better flow and spacing.
This isn't anything against Lance. We could just as easily decide to play an up tempo attack the basket offense. Here Roy and David should never be on the floor together. Their perimeter shots aren't worth respecting (3pt range) so defense can simply sit inside and double team the penetrator. Replace David or Roy (doesn't have to be both) with a stretch 4/5 that has 3pt range and now you have the spacing back in your offense. This would be far better for Lance and Paul to allow them their 1-1 opportunities.
George Hill is a combo guard off the bench, or possibly a poor mans starting 2 guard. Doesn't need to be a facilitator.
To summarize: Move George Hill and David/Roy/Lance for a pure shooter and a true point guard...
At least we have options, and we can see where we get the best value...

My out of left field hunch:
Cleveland doesn't want to part with Wiggins, but Lebron needs a 3rd win-now piece to be in Cleveland to sign there. Cleveland comes after Hibbert, a guy that Lebron would much rather play with, than against. They work CJ Miles in as a S&T at his salary, and then it's some combo Waiters, one of Bennett or Thompson, and Brendan Haywood, and Scottie Hopsons's non-guaranteed deal, for Hibbert and Luis Scola's deal.

Do we re-sign Lance in this scenario?

Hope this doesn't come to fruition. Makes us pretty average and helps Cleveland way too much.

Re: Sporting News:Pacers
My uneducated and relatively neutral opinion (a Heat fan that doesn't want a Cavs team in the Finals next year) is hat I'm not sure LeBron and hibbert work well together. Hibbert seems to have real issues with catching passes and helping set up the offense - which drives LeBron nuts in other teammates. Hibbert also clogs the lane on offense which is where James likes to set up. Can't see Cleveland going for it.
