This board has a bad habit of sticking to draft projections of opposing players way too long and think guys from similar circumstances can replicate the success of another. McCollum is not Lillard. McCollum isn't a starter in this league, he's tweener who is too small for the 2 and not athletic or skilled enough to play PG. #2 option on a good team? Holy crap dude , that's higher than any Blazer fan is on the guy. He was a 4 year starter in college against garbage competition, he's pretty maxed out. His career from this point would be considered a success if he can just learn to stick as a bench role player. What does he do that is better than Brandon Knight who everybody here wants to dump? Literally nothing and Knight is younger.

Sanders for Hibbert would be the dumbest move in history, not going to happen

Until Dallas delivers signed offer sheet to Houston, a sign-and-trade is possible for Chandler Parsons. Teams are discussing deals now.

Gery would trade Larry for Roy Hibbert's wife. He just wants him out of town at all costs.

This would make absolutely no sense for the Bucks to take his albatross of a contract off Indy's hands.

Woelfel is a hack and WSSP programming is suffering because of his presence.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

According to PBT there's no way Houston can sign Bosh to max and also keep Parsons. Unless CB is willing to take a discount, which I could see him doing if LeBron leaves.

I haven't done the math myself, but Larry Coon has and I trust him over PBT.

Yea that's what I'm seeing. Would make them even more desperate to dump salary. Cue Hammond phone image

Knight is two months younger, give me a break. He's also been in the league for 3 years and isn't much different than he was when he came in. Look at his advanced numbers. They aren't very impressive. In regards to what McCollum does better? We don't know at this point because the kid hasn't gotten much burn yet. That much I'll admit. However, writing him off already and saying that his career will be considered a success if he sticks as a back-up is asinine. And where did I ever compare him to Lillard?

McCollum is 6'4". Exactly how is he "too small" for the 2? He was a 4 year starter in college and got better every year, yes. I'd rather have that than a kid like McLemore who had one good season at Kansas and then had a horrid rookie year and showed no heart or desire. The only thing McLemore is better at than McCollum is athleticism and that's not a basketball skill, that's a physical trait.
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan

Didn't that Hibbert for Sanders thing start on the big show two days ago? I'd swear that Leroy or Ramie made that one up for a discussion point.

Same.

The way they handled the Jason Kidd situation was the end for me. Started trying to listen to 540 and 920. Truth be told pretty much all of the non-Ted Davis guys in Wisconsin seem like they are pretty terrible.

Ted Davis is amazing though.

I'm surprise that you guys are so quick to decline this trade. what if we could throw mayo and delfino along with sanders. We could free up cap to offer Bledsoe the max.

sanders
mayo
delfino

for
Hibbert
copeland
Grangers trade exception

we buyout copeland and free up more space.

what would a line up of

bledsoe
Knight
Giannis
Parker
Hibbert

IMO it's more likely they just won't match Parsons.

If we could sign Dwyane Wade, that would be awesome.

Signing that imposter who goes on the court and tries to be an NBA player now would suck.

Hibbert is straight garbage, if you guys hated Bogut's pube games then you'll really hate Hibbert's pube second halves. The guy has no heart, he's soft as hell, inefficient on offense, and he's 27 playing at 290lbs or so on his 7'2" frame. Be the worst possible trade we could do. Thankfully, since Kidd was smart enough to know how awful of a player Lopez is that he'd be able to do the same here. No way he'd want a plodder like Hibbert cramping our young and athletic style.

I just listened to the Woelfel podcast. That is absolutely hilarious. He sounds like he just heard it from the guys on the big show spit balling ideas and is now making it out to be something the teams are actually talking about doing. God I hate Gery.
