This is just getting silly. The idea that signing a free agent to an offer sheet is considered "poaching" is just... well, silly.

Trust me the Jazz won't be trying to poach MKG, Zeller, or even Walker.

Trust me the Jazz won't be trying to poach MKG, Zeller, or even Walker. While Charlotte is desperate to poach Hayward and will probably try again next year with Burks if he is not extended. Actions speak louder than words, we have the better young players.

Nobody wants Burks. We wanted a shooter and Hayward fit that. The other big time wings don't shoot well. You would love MKG next to Hayward they fit perfectly next to each other. You may not go after Walker but he is still young and better than any PG you have. You have one young player who would start on our team and it is Hayward.

Yeah right.

I agree with him I don't think we will be trying to steal Walker from you. We are already getting a log jam at the Point guard position.

As far as the best team I don't really want to argue about it but clearly as far as win now goes Charlotte's record vs the Jazz record pretty much sums that up.

As far as the better younger players, both have very good young players and we could argue until we are blue in the face as to which team has better young guys but that would just be silly.

All I know is this. Jazz fans are starting to remind me of the Magic fans who came here all puffed up about Afflalo and laughing at our roster and demanding pick 9 for him.

They ended up with pick 56.

Ya it's exactly like that except we aren't laughing at your roster... or demanding a pick... or even a trade for that matter.

Big Al just tired of Hendo average ass loafing around but it definitely not worth what we offered that Saved By The Bell/Degrassi cast member lookalike.

I might have to secretly become a Jazz fan for them matching that horrendous contract. They the real MVP of the Hornets right about now.

Miami fans on their board feeling sorry for themselves because lebron might leave and here we are getting in a pissing contest with jazz fans. Miami needs some perspective.

Looks like they're still on pace to match.

Crappy small market franchises should be colluding to take down the big guys, not fighting amongst each other. Get it together everyone!

You haven't but others had been here in this thread saying how your team is better. Our argument was for Hayward our team is better. An all star starting roster from our two teams right now contains 4 of our players and Hayward. I like a lot of your young guys but they are still a bit away from where ours are. Favors is starting to look better and Burks finally had a good season. Our youth is just a step ahead of yours and some other guys was coming on here talking down about our players.

Depends on if this guy is a good reporter or their Bonnell. Are they feeding him bad information or does he really have a reliable source.

He is a pretty reliable source. Also I'd like to apologize for helping start this war between our 2 franchises.

Not a problem.

I honestly feel you guys shouldn't match this offer. I think he has a chance to live up to it here but not as much on a younger team in the tougher western conference. Also with Exum and Hood added to Burks and Burke I feel like you guys are loaded at the wings and PG. Some mid level value vet out there and you guys would be good to go. I feel like you could really use a PF to compliment Favors because Kanter and Favors both need to be at Center are you guys targeting one?

Listening to Clifford's interview he really loves Hayward's game on offense for his versatility how he can play perimeter from the guard position and play pick and roll from the SF position. Clifford says he thinks he can be an All-Star. Gordon really was their number 1 choice, clearly. When asked what they would do if Utah matches Clifford reiterated how Cho has contingency plans and that there are still a lot of 'good' players out there. None of them quite fit like Hayward but Clifford seems prepared to help the guys play a different brand of basketball if necessary. He really liked Hayward as the player who makes his teammates better like McRoberts. He also mentioned how Hayward is a 36% career 3-pt shooter. It's really gonna hurt Clifford when the Jazz match.
