I didn't hear/read the report, but my guess would be that if there is truth to it, then it's moreso what the letter represents that is holding him back -- all of the immature and ugly backlash from Dan Gilbert and the entirety of the Cleveland fanbase.

What Lebron needs to do is commit long term to a quality organization that has delivered each and every season he's been here. He left the Cavs because it was a ship of fools captained by a moron, and they weren't getting the job done. The Heat have. There is no sound reason to believe that they will not continue to do so.

Lebron needs to decide whether he wants to build something, or be a mercenary.
