not reports... but people were reading into the body language of that vid late last night and many were convinced that it was a last ditch attempt by Wade to get Lebron to come back. Which is obviously a far fetched scenario, timing and place for that all to go down hahah.

Theory: Cleveland was never seriously in play. Lebron's camp has been using them as leverage to gain concessions from Riley & Arison and ensure a more powerful position in the franchise going forward. Most of the positive Cleveland press has been leaked by an over-excited Cavs FO. Also, they are planning on crushing Sheridan's career.

Theory: Lebron has been out the door since Sunday. All the clues point to it! All his boys seem to think so! He doesn't want to play with this aging roster and is unimpressed with the improvements. The Riley meeting was a good bye, at this point we're just letting the Heat org save face. Announcement coming soon.

Theory: This is all an elaborate ploy to force Bosh out without looking like you're forcing Bosh out. Once Bosh signs with Houston, Melo will come down here.

All either hinted at or outright confirmed by people with insider connections, all mutually exclusive.

Seriously. People reach on anything. Looked like casual conversation that had nothing to do with his decision to me. They had a 4 hour private flight together to talk plus a whole week in Vegas together. Do people really think they waited until they were off the plane, in sight of cameras and in front of media and others to discuss this stuff

To my knowledge, nothing I've said has been reported by ESPN or anyone else.

It's not what Pat wants, it's what LBJ wants. Pat wants to keep LBJ happy. LBJ doesn't want to look like he's forcing Bosh out, as he thinks it would tarnish his 'brand', thus the "cloak and dagger drama".
