Maybe if he had decided a week ago that might have been the case. I even believed that would be the case. But at this point, outside of either Cleveland or Miami, one who will love him, the other who will range from severely disappointed to hating him, the more comments I read all around suggest that everyone else just thinks this is a joke and LeBron is a walking soap opera.

Well to be fair us Heat fans were also trashing him just 2 days ago because we thought we'd leave, calling him similar things. He brought us 2 rings yet we were trashing him, saying how he failed us in the first season etc. On The Ticket Stugotz and their other cronnie were slamming him while LeBatard was calling out their ridiculousness and how he couldn't blame a guy who wants to go home and do his home right.

Fact of the matter is, but sides have and will act like the scorned G/F

Although the 790 is comedy, I really hope other fans don't follow suit on Stugotz and the other guy's behavior. Screams way too much butthurt and loss of dignity ala Cleveland fans.

If he leaves then wish him well and explore ideas to improve the roster to beat the team he's on and win another title.

but his jersey and shoes topped the market this year in most sales!!!

listen lebron is popular and beloved worldwide but when you hyave so many fans you also have a lot of people who are loud and vocal with their dislike of lebron and social media gives them that platform'

all this crap about him turning into a hero is purely media driven and a narrative that the media pushes

if he goes to cleveland and doesnt win the media will jump off his nuts in an instant and start propping up another star until lebron fades away

its what is generating these big media outlets money atm

dont believe anything

I still think he will be loved more universally if he went back. But lets assume he doesnt care about that. What other reason could it be for going back? To the fans and owner that KILLED him when he left? What other reason? That team is younger, has more potential, but he doesnt trust Pat Riley to build a winner NOW? Pat Riley will improve the team, he has delivered every time .What reason could it be for lebron to go back?

Remember when we had more happier and less stressful times, like the final 30 seconds of game 6 in the 2013 finals?

BRON wil stay for a 2 years deal, Carmelo will sign with Chicago. If Lebron leaves then Carmelo stays with the knicks. It makes sense.

As I said, I don't find it believable at all that the letter and the way he was treated in 2010 is a non-issue. Not for this guy. Nor should it be -- he was treated 1000% worse than any athlete by any owner and fan base in history.

If he's all cool with gilbert now, why haven't they met? Why hasn't he agreed to schedule a meeting with him?

Yeah this is all media fabricated, the Hero story, at the beginning their will be a honeymoon period, I really do believe they will sell him as the good guy. But if he has minor stumble in Cleveland, they will turn on him in a minute.

I guess I think that is one of the attractions of Cleveland, the amount of hype, it will create.
But if LeBron doesn't deliver the goods this time around, they will turn on him faster, I feel right now we are the San Antonio, yes, we are boring to the media, they need something new, edgy and fresh to sell.

I jumped back on 790 after stepping away for a bit and it sounded as if they were speaking in the past tense (i.e., gone back to Cleveland). Scared the **** out of me for a few.

Prior to today?

Saw Chris Carter and Benjamin Watson on TV say they still want him to go back there. Want him to have a man to man convo with Gilbert and then go back.

Lols what is there to say...

Yeah, and that was merely 10 minutes including timeouts and reviews, but this has been going on for what 10 days. Excruciating.

You can get a better idea of what Lebron is likely to do based on objectively looking at his interests rather than parsing through cryptic tweets.

I think the appeal of Miami is you guys have had a ton of success the last 4 years and he has developed a comfort level with your organization. He also knows Miami attracts talent better than Cleveland.

I don't think the pull of saving Cleveland is a big idea for Lebron rather it is just the opportunity to live near his home. On the surface it seems odd that anyone would rather live in Ohio than live in Miami but many people prefer to live at home. I'm not sure I would leave the U.S if you offered me a 50% raise to move to Paris even though that is considered one of the greatest cities in the world and I could use the money.

That is the decision for Lebron.
