I disagree, I actually believe his SI letter is honest. I've always had the feeling he'd want to return to Ohio and make things right, he never felt comfortable about the backlash and he's always been very connected to the area. I honestly believe Wade could be in his prime right now and LeBron would've left.

He used us to get the championship monkey off of his back, knowing it'd haunt him forever if he never won. But he never had the intention of leaving Cleveland itself.

You could be right but we will never know....

I will say that if Wade was declining gradually and not rapidly he would still easily be the best player that LeBron could play with (now I am assuming that they are going to get Kevin Love).

Honestly man, imagine he had gone to Houston to play with Harden and Howard. They had the opportunity to offer him a max contract and, in my opinion, a stronger roster than the current Cavs. But he opted against it, it was always down between us and the Cavs, although I think it was the Cavs from the get-go for sentimental reasons.

Yeah, but a 3rd team was out of the question because of legacy reasons. He couldn't jump ship again and go to Houston. I ain't even mad but feel that the roster pull was as big or bigger than the home pull especially if they get Kevin Love, that's all.

Time for him to step up, get in shape, and play a full season.

No more sitting out 3rd of a season, lead by example. This team is in the East, and can make the playoffs still.

id like to see us make a run at mini lebron bledsoe and greg monroe. a dynamic pg that can switch off and guard most two guards to help wade and a solid big man that can eat the block up and run the pnr game with wade

thatd be a dream scenario for me

Please you've been a member for a couple of weeks and you're already driving me crazy.

Why would Melo want to come here when he can make 30m+ more at the Knicks.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

People are in for a rude awakening if they think Heat are going t o be a bottom of the barrel team. They must have forgotten how bad the East is.

Cleveland will be a bad, bad, bad defensive team. I think they'll regret dumping Wiggins for Love.

I don't care what happens to this organization, you'll never see me burning anything that has a heat logo on it. Not even a Chris Quinn jersey.

If miami fans come out of this looking bad (or worse than cavs fans in 2010), i'll have lost faith in humanity. There's too much cool **** going on in miami to have a sports decision ruin your life.

I think last year was a clusterf*** for him. The maintenance plan was an aftermath of the OssaTron treatment and it threw his entire basketball conditioning and rhythm off. We all hoped for the best, but it just doesn't work that way. I'm hoping this summer he won't need any kind of special treatment and can prepare for the season right away, while also not having to miss all these maintenance games.

We have plenty of capspace, and there are still players out there to be signed, so we can remain a more than competitive team.

thats what i said. especially if they lose a bunch of assets due to the love trade.

a trio of love/lebron/kyrie while good is worse defensively than what he had in miami

not to mention kyrie is fragile. again wade was too but kyrie is much younger and has a wade like play style where he wrecklessly drives to the rim sometimes

lebron is risking a lot here

im over it already. i want to know what we do with mcbob and granger

Feel for you guys, it can't be easy to lose a player like Lebron. I hope Riley will put together the best roster possible. Miami is still an extremely attractive destination and they should not throw in the white towel (aka. tanking) even if Bosh signs with the Rockets.

Need to convince Bosh to stick around and then chase Carmelo.

Let's just give Wade and Haslem whatever they want. No need to hurriedly put together a team that can contend.

We had our time, Pacers/Bulls probably make the finals next year. Cavs will have their time too.

We need to wait for 2016 and pounce.

Stay together guys, we have to weather the storm. Nobody feels sorry for us but nobody made the finals 4 years in the row and won 2 too.
