wtf man

Cavs have probably just usurped OKC as the prototype for "why tanking works."

Not only do they have Irving, the cap space to sign Lebron to max, but they'll also have a #1 pick as an asset to trade for Love.

Weren't they trying to make a run at the 8th seed? I don't think they were tanking, at least this past season.

Wow, I'm genuinely happy for LeBron and the Cavs. This was meant to happen IMO. He's not promising any championships, he's not acting like a self-proclaimed king. He just knows how tough it is, and how tough it will be, and is ready to accept the challenge. He's earned (back) my respect.

Winning the draft this year ultimately meant winning Lebron for Cleveland. Wiggins will (eventually) net Love, and I'm sure this was the selling point during their 4 hour meeting. The luck of dem ping pong balls.

he made a wise move. Even if Cleveland doesn't win next year, that roster has the talent to compete at a high level for years. The pieces are pretty much in place and they'll only improve going forward.

He knows Miami is sputtering at this point and didn't have any assets to make significant improvements to the roster.

I doubt he would have left if Miami had won in convincing fashion this year.

I'm coming home
I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the world that I'm coming... home

He's home :o

The heat index, the bias, the obsession, the decision, the intro, the fans. It was all so fake, glad its all over.

Yep, all you need is to have the best player in the league leave your team, get lucky and win the lottery every year, and then have the best player in the league decide to come back home. This model should work for every team that follows it.

I also have to say that LeBron handled his leaving with exceptional class. What an article. I already respected him tremendously, but it's went to another level after reading that article. Wow.

LeBron returns to the Northeast Ohio Cavaliers. What a story!

It's amazing what getting a team of publicists and speech writers will do for one's career to cover-up the doucheness they naturally exude when speaking off the cuff.

I did not see this happening at all. I thought for sure it was a smoke screen or an elaborate hoax. I think we all need to be careful about congratulating LeBron James, God knows the media is going to shower him with praise for what he's just done. But he's still taking the easy way out. What he's doing is being an opportunist. No different than what he did in 2010.

Is it true that cavs have miamis first round pick next yr. Lol. Lebron pooped on miami.
1. Made them draft napier
2. Left them in the lottery w no pick n basically gifted the cavs with a lottery pick.
3. Dumped on wade to make him sacrifice 22 mill per year which this is actually a blessing in disguise to miami
4. didnt live up to the not 3 not 4 not 5...for miami fans.

Conclusion. I am now a lebron fan. Thats like mafia style business where u get everything to the max.

Imagine if the Cavs somehow got an unprotected 2015 1st round pick out of MIA in 2010. Would be epic lol.
