Oh lord at Wade leaving. Not gonna lie. I had a positive outlook even with Lebron and Bosh gone. If Wade leaves I'm going to light Lebron's jersey on fire while I'm wearing it.

Here's what I'd do:

Max Wade for 2 years
Try to get assets back for LeBron and Bosh
Add young cheap role players
Offer Bledsoe the max
If no Bledsoe overpay Isaiah Thomas and Lance Stephenson on a 2 year deals
Try to add guys like Boozer, Pierce, Nelson, Okafor to avoid the lottery

Then aim to make a splash in 2016

What I would NOT do:
Overpay anyone like Ariza, Deng, Monroe on long term deals thinking that they have any shot at being more than a role player on a contending team. This is my biggest fear.

Lebron saw Kyrie Irving and Triston Thompson better than a hobbled Wade and weak Bosh so he left.

Lebron said it before, he wants to win rings, rings are all that matter, he not interested in the typical sports story, where you stick on one team and slug it out and the fans love you, he obviously doesn't care about any of that.

People that try to portray Lebron as some nice guy that is very simple and has other people tell him what to do, are missing it, Lebron cares about winning, first and foremost and winning with his guys, not the team, not the organization, but with HIS GUYS. He picks who he wants to play with and puts on a jersey.

Lebron is a mercenary and I think its dope. Great for sports, I wish more guys were like him instead of sticking around on some 6th seed collecting 30 million a year, talking about loyalty.

If you seriously think the Cavs have a better shot at winning next year than the Heat would have if LeBron came back, you're nuts.

This wasn't about winning, at least not in the short-term. If LeBron were the guy you're describing, he'd have stayed in Miami for another year or two and let Cleveland know to clear the cap room before Wiggins' rookie contract expires.

if wade leaves it would be a great life lesson for whoever sticks around and watches us

kind of like anyone who managed to sit through a full season of the bucks last year or the cavs a year before that

just no hope of anything

haslem will get his money so i dont feel bad about him and he knows hes not a major player anymore but if we were to lose wade oh boy
