Kerrsed wrote:As Traxxe stated, Sarver left a bad taste in players mouths. Now would Love rather come here with the team how its currently constructed, or if we had Deng on board also. Deng is the type of guy that helps draw in better talent.

I think that is a little overstated though. I mean when Chicago is in the running for big Free agents like Melo...the draw has been the chance to play with D rose and Noah...not necessarily Deng. I mean if we got him, do you really sees free agents saying, "I'm going to PHX to get a chance to play with Deng!"

Sure he will help. But I honestly don't think he will make that much of an impact in that area.

Im actually happy Lebron is going back to Cavs.
I've always wanted to buy a maroon/gold jersey but didn't have a player incentive...
Now James #6 joins my collection.. May also hunt some #23 James Cavs jersey.

Lol

Back to Suns...
- Heat apparently now looking at Deng and Bledsoe...
Hmmm..
That's what I read from their forums.

Yeah cause our trainers can create new cartilage

Since when did Wade become a 3?

When did Dragic become a 2? When did Tucker become a 4? When did Frye become a 3? We don't play positions on this team.

I am not sure Tucker and Deng are good fits - two small forwards; nobody to replace the 4 spot for Frye. Granted Markieff probably can. I am not concerned with replacing Frye's three point shooting if the team can improve its interior defense and rebounding. Even if just backing up Kieff. Deng brings the scoring.

We are waiting for the Bulls to amnesty Boozer.

Bledsoe/Thomas/Ennis
Dragic/Green/Goodwin
Deng/Tucker/Warren
Boozer/Morris/Morris
Plumlee/Len

you should ban yourself for suggesting boozer ;)

Not to mention, but they finished as the second best defensive rated team in the league. The main difference between Deng and P.J. Tucker is that Deng is taller, but his shooting percentages are not good. 43% fg and 30% 3pts (awful 3 point shooter). After just agreeing to re-sign Tucker and having a rookie that averaged 25 ppg in college ready to play, I have no idea why the Suns would want to give big money to Deng. He is barely an upgrade over P.J., if at all.

So you didn't watch that video I posted huh? :banghead: Please watch the video, and if you still feel this way, you should be banned!

Highlight videos shouldn't be used as selling points. Watch some Beasley highlights and he looks like a god. Deng is exponentially better(there's no comparison between the two), but I have concerns about his fit and his price tag.

Was Deng an NBA Allstar?! I am posting the video so people who really don't know his game can get a better idea.

You have got to be kidding me. So because you post a video of Luol Deng having 37 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds, and 7 turnovers, I am supposed to be impressed? What about the fact that it was a triple overtime game and he played 56 minutes? Or that they lost the game. Or better yet, that they lost the game to the freakin' Pelicans who were horrible. That actually makes it even worse. He needed three overtimes and 56 minutes to get those statistics only to see his team lose to an inferior team. So this video is supposed to convince me that he is worth 12 million dollars a year? Okay, I will post a video of Gerald Green having 41 points in 41 minutes including 8 threes against the Thunder where the Suns actually won the game (far more impressive) and claim that Gerald Green is worth 12 million a year because of it.

You got to be kidding me?! Did you see how Deng got his points?!!???? Yea Gerald Green goes 8-10 from three and gets 41 points....big difference. Like I said watch the video then talk!!

Yea we couldn't get James so lets suck again. Why get a good player on a short term contract, you have to spend a certain amount of dollars towards the cap anyways....

Again Kerrsed; how well did that old ass non-shooting Grant Hill do in our lineup?! Oh WCF!

I did watch the video. I have watched Deng his entire career. I know his game well. I am not interested. He is inconsistent and has very poor field goal percentages. I do not know what you want me to say. He is a 7-8 million dollar a year role player that has no business being on the Suns. You wanna pay him more than Dragic? I do not. You want to give him three or four years while the Suns do not sniff a championship? I do not. There is no reason to sign him. They just gave Tucker a new contract. Just because Deng is a much more versatile offensive player than Tucker, does not make him worth 12 million a year. He is not that great. Is he better than Tucker? Yes I think he is. Is he worth committing nearly 50 million dollars to? Not even close.

Ya, I obviously woulda prefered it if LBJ came to the Suns, but I like that he didn't take the easy way out this time. Excellent choice for his legacy if he manages to win with Cleveland

You've got to be kidding. He stayed in the East. That is the definition of taking the easy way out.

So now what's Houston's plan with all the money they shed by trading Lin? Is Carmelo still an option for them?

Wait.... hopefully they aren't looking at Bledsoe!
