Napier 1.3
Wade 14 (4 year deal?)
Deng 10 (44/4)
Bosh 20 (max)
Gasol 7 (the latest is the Lakers offered $5m per, other teams have MLE)

Cole 1.3
McRoberts $5m
UD $2.5m (7.5/3)
4 holds of $500k

=$63m

It's not actually totally unfeasible, financially speaking.

Sign Granger to the mini MLE...
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Only team to give them a chance

That is nice to see

Nice to see some loyalty towards the Heat too lol

The tweet I saw saying Birdman is still considering returning to Miami said he's very loyal to Riley & Spo

Interesting that Bosh re-signing obviously has to do with the $ but also specifically mentions that he likes playing for Spo

I just want Bledsoe.

Would buy his jersey on the first day.

A knock off probably, but a jersey nonetheless. :)

No, I honestly thought Deng was in his mid 30s as well. Dude is actually younger than Lebron.

It's not over till Riley says it's over... Don't forget we could get Deng for Bron and still bring in Gasol?

Or maybe... Maybe..... Someone that rhymes with Jello

It's definitely because he wants to compete, but if he's willing to turn down more money to compete, is he really going to choose us? We're not going to be a championship-quality team unless he takes way less, Deng comes with the rest, AND Wade turns back the clock.

I don't really agree. I think a core of Wade, Bosh and Pau can at least compete for a title if surrounded by some quality role players. No, not the kind of favorites we have gotten used to being the last 4 years, but in the mix.

The problem isn't the core, it's the filler. I think Wade/Bosh/Pau can be your Top 3 and at least get you to the Finals with some good breaks, but not when you're starting Norris Cole at the 1 and Danny Granger's corpse or James Ennis at the 3.

But it's not really a matter of whether we *can* compete. It's whether Gasol is going to choose us, out of all of his options, when winning means more to him than money. We're not a terrible bet, but if he wants to win, I'd imagine OKC/SA make more sense.

For most players, it is not just wanting to win or puicking the team with the best chance to win. Unless you are a pure ring-chaser, you want to be a major contributor to the team that gets the ring. Gasol should no there is no guarantee with anyone. But his role with us would be bigger and more meaningful than that with some of the other possibilities. The Spurs were great and he'd be a great fit, but whose minutes does he take. They are getting almost everyone back. I'm sure they'd find some time for him, but it seems like a much less meaningful role to be an addition to a reigning champion that has lost nobody. But who knows that he is thinking.

They seem to want him (Thomas) as a 6th man.

Would a Deng-James sign-and-trade with Cleveland help us create added flexibility?

I'm actually really excited to see our team next year. Certain players will be more accountable than before and others might actually get playing time. Btw, I love u Bosh.

If we really want to compete....

Dwyane HAS to develop some type of reliable three pointer this off-season.

It would be HUGE for him and this team.

Let's not forget, he got outplayed by Danny Green in the Finals.

This is a MUST.

Not returning to the Lakers, could he be entertaining the Heat at this moment?

That seems like a pipe dream.
