Let's keep it classy. Should be interesting to see wade now by himself without having to defer.

I feel like weve been pretty classy thus far, or did I miss something?

That's how I feel too. Don't get me wrong, losing LBJ is no joke and he's the best player in the world. I am still a fan of his game but I am even a bigger fan of Riley (if that makes sense). We are not going to be title contenders but we will be competitive. Hopefully Riley builds one more championship team before he retires. I don't even feel the sting of LeBron leaving. Hearing more about the reasons why he left and the home factor + Cavs young roster was simply too much for Riley to overcome.

I missed Lebatard or any sports today after I heard the announcement, I didn't want my Friday to be filled with negativity cause I have to attend and speak at a funeral tomorrow. This news of Bosh that came across my phone pepped me right up. I am now catching up.....

I too just want to be competitive....and we will be, i feel it will be easier than expected. Some of us got spoiled with all of the quick success, I always put it into perspective and look forward to watching a mixture of our lil 3 with some good vets and BOSH/WADE.

Allen will

I don't know about JJ

JJ is a Miami guy but we don't play him. I wouldn't be surprised if he left and got more playing time in CLE playing next to a guy who likes him. Lebron would openly say JJ needed more minutes and Spo never did that

A lot are starting to hate on lebron.. Smh can't do that. Not to a guy that's helped the heat be among a few franchises that have 3 or more titles

This could have been a very DARK day, I never got disappointed, but now I'm excited again.

No doubt.

We had to tailor EVERYTHING to Lequit....... even Wade had to change his game to accomodate him. Let Cavaliers deal with that.

Honestly, I'll be glad that the irrational hatred will be lifted from Miami. That guy brought tons of hate to our city and our team......

Dude the Hate will never go away, the Media will keep us as the enemy. They will always treat as going to Miami is like making a deal with the devil.

The Hate was not Miami driven, was Lebron's decision driven from teams he didn't choose. Sure, he may become a darling again for breaking up the East threat, but make no mistake, the hate will rise once he becomes a threat again.

I just don't get the feeling that Lebron is very well liked as a whole.

For the people saying Gasol, unless that dude is coming here for the Room Exception of like 2.7million, I doubt we go down that route. We have a huge whole right now on the wings and that has to be closed.

If Wade signs for Bosh's old deal of 5/90 (I don't know why you guys keep thinking Wade is signing for 12 to 14 per, dude is not Ghandi), we should be able to sign the other guys for 50 million total this year. That should give us about 10 to 11 million in cap space if you consider the holds. We also have the Room Exception and the Bi-Annual left to sign others with.

Deng and who else :(?

Things like those keep sports in perspective :). It's only sports, it's entertainment, and doesn't have a direct impact on our lives. I think that's why I am so meh today and simply excited to watch the Heat/NBA next season. Sorry for your loss BTW (don't know whom you lost but hope you are doing okay).
