Yeah, maybe some people don't realize that Deng has played/missed about the same numbers of games as Wade for the past 4 seasons. They will be a glass-made duo.. and we will be disappointed in how much of a downgrade Deng is compared to LeBron (esp. if we pay him like $13-14M!!!).

I don't post much but lurk a lot as I have said before. I want to take minute to thank you guys for helping get me through the day. Some of the comments, pictures, absurd notions, and reactions have made this entire ordeal not as bad as it could be. For everything wrong with the internet, the sense of comradery it creates with complete strangers is amazing. I'm going to try and be a more active poster, and as I have been telling my friends, there is a reason you root for the name on the front of the jersey not the back (unless the back of the jersey says Wade).

People saying Deng and Wade couldn't co-exist for some reason can't comprehend that Deng can shoot 3 pointers. That being said I really hope we sign Monroe. He would bring so much flexibility to an otherwise inflexible front court. It would make offense for Bosh easier just in the fact that he can defend smaller players expelling less energy.

Monroe / Birdman / Oden
Bosh / McRoberts / Haslem
Beasley / Granger / Ennis
Wade / Butler / Morrow
Felton / Nappier / Cole

Probably best case scenario from here.

I like Deng way, way better than Ariza. But I'd rather skip on both and send the money toward a PG or C. Bledsoe, Monroe, or Gasol.

If we sign Deng, we're looking at starting McBob and Norris Cole. That's not a good thing.

I'm starting to Hate LeBron, mainly becuase we retooling and going after the East. He stands in our way if the most memorable heat season, if we can make a run in May.

Get Deng, it's not sexy, but he has proven his defense, and done it year on year. Ariza just stinks of a guy havin a big contract year, then riding the cash..
