Harangody is not particularly big. He's 6'6". He's not an inside player -- he's a shooter. At ND, he took 6 3-pointers every 40 minutes. But he hasn't been able to translate that to the NBA's longer version of the 3point shot.

Nor did Harangody have "insane" numbers in the D League. He had good numbers, not great.

Luke was picked #52 in the 2010 draft. He had 3 years in the NBA and couldn't get anything done. He's looking for a job, but his job will be overseas not in the NBA.

Cross Harangody off the list, he's got offers in Europe apparently.

To be honest he probably would not have made the team, I like him but, he would have to out play Orton, Theis and birch. Which, with his size, he's probably not getting a look over those 3.

Philly has two guys on its SL team in Orlando that I wish we were looking at: Jakarr Sampson and Ronald Roberts, Jr. Don't know whether they'll be in LV, but they both have played so well that they might.

They have Drew Gordon lined up for their LV team. I was surprised he wasn't drafted in '12. Terrific rebounder and can shoot a little. He's Aaron Gordon's older brother, I believe.

On our team I've really got my fingers crossed for Birch.

I remember being very high on Drew Gordon as a round two pick. I didn't know he is the older brother of Aaron.

After reading your post, pif, I found a great read on the Gordon brothers and their family.

Liking what I am seeing from summer league.

Great interview with Marcus Smart. Good thing he stayed in school. Looks like he matured.

I like what BRK added in M. Brown and Cory Jefferson

K. Caldwell-Pope looking really good.

Justin Harper in the house. 6-10 225 shooting 14-24
He went 7-7 and 4-4 from 3 for 19 pts in 19 min.

I hope Harper find his way into the league this year. I really liked him as a 2nd round pick for us back in his draft.

Any my boy Mitch McGary making some noise with 15 pts

Jarnell Stokes averaging 9.7 rebounds. No surprise.

Casper Ware putting on some shine.

Willie Reed 6' 10", 220 averaging 3.30 blocks 5.7 rebounds in 21 minutes ... 13-22 shooting 0.591

Does anyone know if the roster was trimmed before they left for Vegas? Surely, they're not taking 16 guys, right?

Here's a different link that lists every team. It's dated 7/8, and it still shows 16 names for the Wiz.

I like the interview sam cassell gave today, He mentioned what he wants from rice and porter, and he said he knows 3 guys who are starting. I hope Burton is the 3ed! I hope our summer league team does well.

Will somebody post a game thread for the SL games or will we have to use this thread?

With Sam Cassell and Al Harrington as coaches, we've got to have the chattiest bench in Summerleague. Refs are gonna hear an earful every game. As are players, scouts, fans, concessions vendors, bookies, empty chairs...

Hell I bet they hardly watch the games and just jabber at each other the whole time instead.

Porter and Rice played great ball yesterday, but I am worried about the team, The other players did not step up, we need the other guys to step up and prove that they belong on the main team! and play Burton!

Doug McDermott just scored 31 points (7-12 FG, 5-9 3P, 12-12 FT) in his Summer League debut.

Can somebody please check in on CCJ and make sure his heart hasn't stopped?
