POLL: With LeBron gone how should we revamp our roster?

Post#1 » by Temuhjan » Sat Jul 12, 2014 1:09 am

What a way to begin Summer 2014! LeBron is gone. Wade and Bosh are staying. It is not what we Heat fans would like to hear, but big things like this can only happen in Miami. Other than the Decision 2010, can you imagine a bigger summer happening to any professional sports franchise anywhere in the world?

With this in mind, how would you like to revamp our roster going forward? Your opinions please.

bring back Chris Bosh is nice, unfortunately it looks like we are still stuck with coach spolestra, I guess we would have had to miss the playoffs or something crazy like that before Pat Riley would step in and ax spo. I don't want to see Chris Bosh shooting all those 3's next season, yeah the three is a nice compliment to his arsenal, but I would rather see Chris Bosh inside where he can grab rebounds and get to the basket.

I like Bosh. I think his range really adds an extra dimension to his game. But I am very concerned about his continual regression in both rebounds and assists in each of the last 4 years. There is a distinct possibility James is seeing something about Bosh that we do not.

In view of this, I believe Riles should be prudent, put Bosh on a short leash and offer him a 3-year max deal as opposed to the 5-year contract tendered.

I want Bosh back but you can never be too careful.

Man, do you just open new threads without reading those already open?

This is being discussed elsewhere on the board, please stop opening new threads.

And whilst I'm semi ranting please don't ask about Cap space again given so and so's position

And don't bring up your love for Lance!

Sorry for the pressure release.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

I feel you, bro. As a matter of fact, given we are no longer in the Championship mode this season, I don't think we need Lance no more.

Instead, I think we should sign a bunch of low-to-mid profile 23-27yo's for $2-5m each. I have a strong feeling we will discover some diamonds in the rough.

Well yeah, how could anyone hope to win a championship without Lebron.
