With Nick Young resigning I assume we have moved on. Peace out Melo. Get ready to rot in NY. Love aint coming there. He will be in Cleveland.

I have to admit ... this Bosh switcheroo has me thinking that there is still a chance, albeit small, that Melo might still sign with us.

Man, nice to see Houston get f'd.

See if Mitch had let Marshall in the Melo meeting he would have signed here.

Get ready for another god awful season guys. Worst is, we don't own our pick this season.

Instead Mitch should have put a gun to Lebron, Carmelo and Bosh's head and forced them to sign a max contract.

And your point is? Did I say that Mitch didn't do what he can to sign those guys?

Assuming the Lakers weren't in fact informed that Melo was not interested in coming here, I'm glad we essentially pulled our offer shortly after LeBron announced.

I mean, enough already. It's not like you have all the choices in the world.

Still don't understand why he hasn't decided yet.

He must really want a S&T to Chicago.

Probably... I still don't get the fascination with Chicago.

I get that train of thought, if everything stays how it is today. But unless he gets a s&t he's leaving a lot on the table...
And if he doesn't, and decides just to resign in NY, he's sending a weird message to the Knicks.

I was a bit put off by the indecision. you have a chance to play with a legend and become a legend on a legendary team and you just hide for a week. lost a lot of respect for Melo.

While we don't have our own pick we do have the Rockets' 2015 pick. So at least we have a pick next year.

I'm calling it now, Melo will ask for a trade by year 3 of his new deal. We all love Phil and Derek but they're not turning around the Knicks that quickly, especially if they plan on running the Triangle. The Knicks just don't have the players for it outside of Melo who'd work well in the Tri., but the rest of that squad is dodoo.

In 2017 Melo will be trying to force his way somewhere.
