I say we throw the Max on Bledsoe, hope he can continue to beast. Guy has upside still.

I love all the advice from other fans on what Miami needs to do, and no I'm not a Heat fan but seriously, Riley was winning rings before most of these haters were in their daddy's sack. Riley gets **** done, he'll get it done again.

Bledsoe is the name im most excited about that is still out there.

Add Bledsoe, maybe Gasol too?

Bledsoe/Napier
Wade/Granger
Ennis/Beasley
Bosh/Mcbob
Gasol/Bird

That's a contender.

Your best bet is yo go after Stephenson and maybe Monroe to build on.

Lol. So because Lebron left, no one ever wants to go to Miami again? Miami was a top spot even before Lebron was here.[/quote]

No because Gasol isn't going to a team who isn't going to contend.

It all depends on Wade, but add Gasol and Deng, bring back all our role players from last year including doubling down on Beasley/Oden and we'll win the east and maybe even win a **** championship.

This is how I would like to see the roster rounded out. Assuming we sign Deng tomorrow and Ray Allen retires, I see this team still competing for the ECF Finals.

PG: Nelson/Cole/Napier
SG: Wade/Morrow
SF: Deng/Granger
PF: Bosh/McRoberts/Haslem
C: Anderson/Hollins

The worst place to be in the NBA is mediocre. I think the Heat need to tank. Bosh resigned for the max, but I think the Heat will end up trading him for expiring contracts and draft picks.

No one can take away what Riley has done. However, his speech about staying together "if you have the guts" didn't go over well.

I don't know what he can do, but we'll see. Riley took a huge hit. Riley wrote a very gracious farewell to Lebron.

I wonder if Wade will get the max or near max deal from Riley that he opted out of re-offered..

Do you think Pat Riley is going to go back to his bread and butter team building style and try to build around a big man?

I believe that is our only option. We just gave a big man a $20+mil contract.

So why are we trying to get to the ecf for? To lose?

No, not what I intended but given our limited options, I believe that this would be a strong team to begin building upon. It may even go all the way. /wishful thinking

I'd try to sign Gasol and Pierce.

Guys like Bledsoe are flashy, but they haven't shown that they know how to win.

There needs to be another option here:

"Give it about 20 years and let my kids worry about it."

I wonder what its going to be like for Lebron next season, in May, and perhaps even in Junewatching the Miami Heat, his former team playing basketball while his, follow his teams playing days will have been over, if wiggins turns out like their last pick, it could be a loooooong 4 years.

Did not expect Bosh to get 118M deal with Heat. I think that is a crushing win for the Heat.

Return to Miami Heat
