But WHY the opt out after one year?!?!!

If you're committed long term why not just take a two year deal?

Because if they lose and can't trade for Love, he's going to consider taking a one year pay cut just to make that happen. LMAO it's all about "coming home" right? He ain't trying to decide in between playing with Love or Wiggins, he wants both.

Gasol to Bulls. I saw a laker fan post it was for $6.5m/yr. If that's true...why did we get mcbob. Even ariza was $8m. We could've gotten them both or gasol/deng.

LOL it would be funny if he opted out tho. He not leaving there but it would drive Cavs fans crazy

It's the new breed of moron in the NBA. They actually think that owners won't try to win if they aren't holding their feet to the fire. Obviously learning nothing from his last fiasco in Cleveland when he kept pressuring the Cavs to add talent "now" which led them to adding players he would later determine weren't good enough.

It's hilarious to think about

I think we could land Howard tbh lol

I do too. If Houston fails to win..... then Dwight finally gets Chris Bosh, the stretch 4 he is longing to play with. But he has to go to Miami.

It's possible. Howard really wants to win something, and Riley will be there waiting for him with open arms.

We could have .... If Lebron was here. People don't look at us the same anymore

Gasol would have came here easily if Lebron recruited him here

Idk about Ariza. I am surprised at the price tag

i could be way off base but seems like LeBrons trump card just in case gilbert tries to stick it to him. I will never believe those two ever forgave each other.

I understand being mad at Lebron for leaving. But the guy left his hometown on a national television show, was part of a rally in MIA right after where he danced around on stage and predicted multiple championships. I could never be more mad at him than a Cleveland fan. He gave us 4 great years and carried this team on his back to 2 straight chips. How are you calling him LebUm, LeQUit, Lewhateverelse? For what?

And he would like Miami. But it's about the price tag and we willing to pay for him lol. If Houston has two bad exits, it's possible.

He can opt-out next year and sign 1yr for less in order to fit Love before reupping in 2016 with bigger contracts. It makes sense.
