Again:

Deng better not get more than a 2-year deal. Don't care how much we pay him. Will lose faith in the FO if we give him more than that.

Deng, Deng, Deng, Deng, Chalmers. Sadly.

I can't see PHX giving Thomas that contract, Dragic a huge deal next summer, AND matching a $15 million max contract for Bledsoe. Too much tied into backcourt. We submit offer sheet; he's ours. Do it.

While I don't want him to get more than 2 years, Deng for exactly 2 years would be perfect. Well ok not perfect, his 3-point shot leaves something to be desired so our spacing would be meh... but we'd be a hell of a scrappy team.

With a Bosh/Wade/Deng core surrounded by McBob, Granger, Ennis, Napier, etc I'd say that our team can go a lot of ways and it depends on coaching. With that roster in the East, a veteran, high bball IQ roster with talent and defensive potential and a legit #1 scoring option at the 4 and a still star-caliber 2 guard and athletic wings that can defend and shoot the 3, we can win 50+ games and be a top seed and put ourselves in position to beat the Cavs in the playoffs. Or, with poor coaching resulting in bad defense, we could win less than 45. Will be interesting to see it play out.

Lance is the most realistic considering he won't demand a max and can be got for about 12-13. Deng will likely ask the same except he comes with injury history and is not a very good shot creator.

Thing about lance is that Charlotte is chasing him.

I don't really want Deng if we can get Bledsoe, and id almost rather we get Lance over Deng as well.

Any updates if Bosh has an opt out in two years?

Again its just my opinion that we we follow the same game plan we followed after Shaq was traded.

Year one tank this season, Give Wade his Max Kobe type contract for two season. Sign Beasley and Evan to two year deals with an option 3rd year and hope one of them with our draft pick pan out. If were not going to contend at least be a fun entertaining scoring team.

Year two aim for the playoffs which wont be hard since its the east. Then go for broke in 2016.

The key to any future contending will be based on 2016 so lets not cock it up with long term contracts to Deng or players of his caliber.

I am going to settle in to our current situation I have no wish list, cause the people that I want here are already here. I don't want to know how much money we have or who we're targeting, I want our GM to do what's best for our team moving forward.

10-STEP DESPERATION CONTINGENCY PLAN, MIAMI HEAT 2014:

(IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ONLY)

1. Hire an outside contractor to take Stan Van Gundy's car.

2. Hire another contractor to spy on Robert Sarver. What valuable things can we take from him? Dog? Cat? Fish tank?

3. **** it, take that too.

-- THE PLAN HINGES ON THE PROPER CARE OF TAKEN ITEMS; HIRED CONTRACTORS MUST BE OF STABLE MIND --

4. Sign Greg Monroe to max offer sheet.

5. Anonymous letter reaches Stan Van Gundy, letting him know that his car is safe, and as soon as Greg Monroe becomes a member of the Miami Heat, he will enjoy driving it again.

6. Start giving Phoenix signs that losing Eric Bledsoe to the Heat could result in valuables returning.

7. See if offer sheet can be signed with Bledsoe.

8. Prepare offer sheet.

9. Shower both Monroe and Bledsoe in Miami riches, women, croquetas, cigars, cocaine.

10. Profit.

Please nobody actually take this seriously...
