That's only if you count his 28 games with the Bucks. He shot 28% over the whole season. Again you and your lack of attention to detail.

The fact is he has improved his shooting which has allowed him to be more dangerous to drive and get into the paint or draw fouls which he is really good at. Secondly since it is 100% more likely we could resign him vs the 1% chance we have of signing Bledsoe, I would say why not? Can't you see how important the character of a player and his willingness to play in Milwaukee is important? It called OJ Mayo syndrome. Mayo doesnt want to be here so he got fat and lazy. We gave him big dollars which he also wanted but then realized he can be on vacation for 3 years. I say those who actually like Milwaukee and who can play should be coveted not scorned.

aka 2% likely? wat

Sessions please go. I wish that Bledsoe was just a UFA next year, would be much sweeter for us, but I take a chance on him this year, depending on what the suns want in a S&T. Honestly though, I throw like 4/52 at him and see if the suns match.

The Bucks missed their boat by not getting Lin. Now they just need to stand pat and not do anything stupid like make their team better in the immediate short term. Let Wolters start at PG.

Better get a haul. Players like him don't grow on trees - pretty special player IMO. Not even sure what a feasible deal out there for him would be. Indiana comes to mind as a team he could help immensely, but what asset would they get in return? Doubt Phx wants anything to do with Hibbert. Houston atone for letting him go? What do they give up that makes it worth Phoenix's while?

I don't see Dragic being moved. He's a great player on a very reasonable contract.

Bledsoe or Ennis are possibly attainable though. I think a lot of teams would value Ersan. Bucks should really be looking to move him for legit value. I would do an Ersan for Ennis swap, or include Ersan with Knight for Bledsoe.

Did I miss something? I never heard about Elfrid Payton being mentioned in rumors for the Bucks...

If the Suns really have put Dragic on the market would we be contenders for his services?

He's older than our burgeoning Parker / Giannis core but wow could he aid their development.

The age issue also wouldn't be as big a factor considering how he plays. It's not like Nash being older than Amare and Marion was a problem.

No, his impending FA status after this year would be the big factor. If I'm giving up assets, it's not for potentially a one year arrangement. That'd be a far worse scenario than offering Bledsoe the max and forcing PHO to either cut bait or tie up resources.

I definitely think that Dragic can play a lot longer because he doesn't rely on his athleticism as you noted with the Nash comparison. But like Captain said, it's the player option in his contract that would scare me away.

Any contract that pays him more than 4-6 mil a season will be an overpay.

Not with the contracts handed out so far this offseason. 4-6 mil is a vast underpay if Marvin is getting 7. Not that I condone it of course :)

Pass to Dragic, not paying what the Suns would want

So Mark Stein just tweeted that the Suns are in on Deng. IF they get Deng - will they still have anyone to match a max on Bledsoe?

Not sure what you mean, but if they can sign Deng before a Bledsoe contract, they can then match Bledsoes deal and go over the cap.

Might be adventitious for us to get an offer sheet out now so that PHX is in a rush to get Deng. Who knows, maybe it forces their hand to match Bledsoe before they can sign Deng to a contract?

Well I mean a much better version of a scoring guard in Thomas only got 8 million.

Personally I think Knight is a significantly better piece than Thomas.

This is because Bird Rights are transferred when a player is traded, right?

Not exactly sure how it works. I always thought bird rights get forfeited if the player is traded? Not sure though.

Solely based on potential or what?

If they're forfeited when a player is traded then I don't think they could go over the cap matching a max offer on him.
