I doubt he'd come here to play backup and if he plays well enough to start or play alongside Kemba (I thought Clifford didn't like small ball?) then our perimeter defense will be weakened sufficiently enough to no longer hide Jefferson at all. And you know Clifford will throw out some #spacing lineups like DJ, Neal, Hendo, Zeller and Al to play 4th quarters. Do you really want to see that?

I think there is a 0% chance Kemba is not in the game in end game situations. Do you seriously think we would take out Kemba to use DJ? Kemba has long been used as our clutch guy in that context.

I also don't think there is a chance he gets significant run with the starting lineup unless Kemba is out. I agree that Kemba and DJ together won't work, I just don't think we'll do it.

Hey if Lebron can forgive Cleveland, then DJ can forgive Charlotte.

Personally it would be weird with him back.

Was more saying we fairly often blast pretty much everyone that is still here too.

mcbob is a terrible defender man or weakside

This continues to get overlooked for some strange reason.

Said something along the lines of: "he was unsure of his role(which i think had something to do with drafting Kemba) and where he stood in regards to his future with Charlotte. And something about his contract...he thought he was getting overlooked in that regard. He didn't say anything nasty about the franchise itself though.

I would be okay with him coming back. He was with us during the worst times and has proven himself good, or at the very least, servicable on other teams. Since we are now in a much better position than we were when he left, I would think he should consider it, and we should give him another chance. Especially with Clifford, I think he could find a way to make DJ useful to us.

Still would rather have Sessions

I'd have the beautiful little brown eyed bastard back for sure. I think he's a great little back up and I think that the BRD would do wonders for him after the Clown broke him.

Of course Augustin still wouldn't have any shooters to pass the ball to, but I think he would be serviceable for us.

For the right price (2 years 6 mil type numbers)

:banghead: :nonono:  Like I said if we don't sign DJ quick Cuban will and he is from Texas.I like him at 15 million over 3 years with third being a team option over other FA PG left in that price range.
Now that I think about it and we have signed Williams the only thing I like better that would complete this roster would be a 3 way with Cleveland and Minnesota.

We played Kemba and Neal together for offense, Neal's not exactly a giant compared to DJ.

I wouldn't mind DJ coming back though, at least he can shoot.

DJ as a backup is awesome. DJ as your starter isn't what you want.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

This would have been funny on so many levels but he is a Piston.
