Look I get that Chalmers was pretty much all Wario this playoffs and definitely finals. But he has been a contributor in tough situations many times and even in the Pacers series was one of the only ones willing to go at Hibbert. Bringing another pg in in addition to Nappier will be bad and slow the whole team down as they will both have to learn our system. My ideal would be to start Clamers at pg while Shabbaz goes to work learning as fast as he can. Then hopefully by mid season, we see enough progress to make a change and put Nappier as the starting pg and move Mario to a combo scoring guard off the bench, in the role many of us envisioned for Wade if Lebron stayed. Cole continues to spell the starters and remains change of pace when needed.

neither is perfect but in games where we actually let them control the ball then they are serviceable. Cole is a better play maker for other people than Chalmers, meaning Cole actually sets people up while Chalmers just passes the ball to the closest target. Chalmers looks for and gets his own shot better though. If our philosophy is going to be the same and we are goind to under-utilize the pg position then I say get rid of both of them. If we are going to let them run the offense then I say bring in both of them. I do not want to see a ball dominant Deng.

As far as Napier I still think he is below both of these pgs for now. I have not seen signs that he can defend at this level like Cole can.

All I know is it's going to be annoying Chalmers make boneheaded plays all season long. Hopefully he can stay in his lane next season and we rely on Wade/McRoberts for more of our playmaking.

I'd rather roll the dice with Napier. If he works out, that's great! If he does not pan out, no harm done. We will simply get a new PG next summer. There is no need to waste another $4m per season on a proven scrub.

I like Rio more than Cole.

Cole is way more erratic, and that's saying something

Cole is a better defender (for the most part).
